In this study, we conducted a study to examine how the design and use of MCS affects the social capital of organizational members and how this social capital affects organizational performance. As a result of the study, the interactive use of MCS was found to have a significant positive impact on trust, norms, participation, and network of social capital. The interactive use of MCS was found to be a result of interaction through frequent communication between members It was suggested that the formation of cooperative relationships could bring benefits as corporate social capital. These results show that the use of MCS is an important factor in strengthening organizational performance. Therefore, if MCS is used in an interactive way that increases discussion, frequent exchange, and diverse information sharing and organizational learning, it is possible to simply understand performance through MCS. This suggests that it is possible to solve the cause of the problem and improve social capital that can quickly adapt and respond to a rapidly changing environment.

본 연구에서는 MCS의 설계와 활용이 조직구성원의 사회적 자본에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 살펴보기 위해 사회적 자본을 신뢰, 규범, 참 여, 네트워크로 구분하고 MCS의 상호작용적 이용이 사회적 자본에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구결과 MCS의 상호작용적 이용은 사회 적 자본의 신뢰, 규범, 참여, 네크워크에 각각 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 MCS의 상호작용적 이용은 구성원 간 빈번한 의 사소통을 통한 상호작용과 협력관계를 형성하게 하여 기업의 사회적 자본으로서 이점을 가져다줄 수 있음을 시사하였다. 이러한 결과는 MCS를 토론과 빈번한 교류, 그리고 다양한 정보공유와 조직학습을 증대시키는 상호작용적 이용방식으로 활용한다면, MCS를 통해 단순히 성과를 파악하는데 그치지 않고 문제의 원인을 해결하며 급변하는 환경에 빠르게 적응하고 대처할 수 있는 사회적 자본을 증진시킬 수 있음을 시사한다.
