Objective: This study examined job importance and educational needs among occupational therapists working at rehabilitation hospitals in Busan and Gyeongnam, South Korea, and identified differences based on participants’ careers. Methods: During seven weeks, from October 23 to December 4, 2023, a survey was administered to 120 occupational therapists working at various rehabilitation hospitals in Busan and Gyeongnam. The researcher measured job importance and educational needs using a questionnaire based on Lee et al.’s (2014) study, scored using the Likert scale. Results: Counseling had the highest level of importance for each duty, and intervention planning and counseling had the highest level of education. The highest level of importance and education needs for each task was attributed to training for activities of daily living, followed by selfmanagement. There was no significant difference in the importance and education needs of each task according to career, and there was a significant difference in the importance and education needs of each task. Conclusion: This study can be used as basic data for the education and training process of occupational therapists.

목적: 본 연구는 부산⋅경남 지역 재활의료기관에 근무 중인 작업치료사를 대상으로 직무 중요도와 교육 요구도를 알아보고, 근무경력에 따른 차이를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 연구 기간은 2023년 10월 23일부터 12월 04일까지이었고, 부산⋅경남지역 재활의료기관에 근무하고 있는 작업치료사 120명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 Lee 등(2014)의 연구에서 도출된 6개 임무와 37개 작업을 기반으로 직무 만족도와 교육 요구도에 대해 리커트 5점 척도로 응답할 수 있도록 구성한 설문지를 사용하였다. 결과: 임무별 중요도는 상담이 가장 높았고, 교육 요구도는 중재계획과 상담이 가장 높았다. 작업별 중요도와 교육 요구도는 일상생활능력 훈련하기가 가장 높았고 다음은 자기 관리 순이었다. 경력에 따른 임무별 중요도와 교육 요구도는 모두 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 작업별 중요도와 교육요구도는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 결론: 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 재활의료기관 작업치료사의 직무 중요도 및 교육 요구도 현황을 이해하고, 작업치료사 교육 및 양성과정을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
