The purpose of this study is to present an example of the composition of liberal arts Korean language textbooks suitable for foreign students taking the Korean language curriculum in liberal arts. Accordingly, this textbook is a functionally integrated textbook that can be used for Korean Language Tret in the liberal arts curriculum, and it is appropriately composed of common Korean language education contents and Korean language contents for academic purposes based on university life. The actual structure of the textbook’s unit was organized around the themes of leisure activities on campus and course registration in the following order: Introduction-New Words-Conversation- Grammar-Activities-Confirmation Learning-Culture. In the case of grammatical form practice, traditional structural practice methods and various methods of form-focused teaching methods are used to pay attention to morphological changes in Korean and to present‘Dung-iy’expressions. Meaningful task activities are composed of content and expressions that can be used directly in real life, linking reading, writing, and speaking for practice and expansion by function.

본 연구의 목적은 교양교육 한국어교육 과정을 수강하는 외국인 유학생들에게 적합한 교양 한국어 교재 구성의 실례를 제시하는 것이다. 교재 제작의 배경은 외국인 유학생의 대학교 입 학 조건이 완화되고 소정의 한국어교육을 받지 않은 유학생들이 학부에 입학하면서 생겨나는 학업 문제와 대학 내 소통의 어려움을 조금이나마 해결해 줄 수 있는 교재의 필요성을 교수 자와 학습자가 지속적으로 제기되어 왔기 때문이다. 기존의 한국어 교재로는 한 주 2-3시간 내에서 일반 목적의 한국어 교육과 학문 목적 한국어 교육을 달성하기 힘들므로 교수자가 효 율적으로 교수할 수 있는 내용으로 구성할 필요성에 부합하도록 구성하였다. 이에 본 교재는 기능통합형 교재로 교양 교육과정 한국어 트렉에 활용 가능한 교재로 공통 한국어 교육 내용 과 대학생활을 기반으로 한 학문목적 한국어 내용을 함께 적절히 구성하였다. 교재 단원 구성 의 실제는 도입-새 단어-대화-문법-활동-확인학습-문화 순으로 교내 여가활동과 수강 신청 을 주제로 구성하였다. 문법 형태 연습의 경우 전통적인 구조 연습 방식과 형태초점 교수법의 다양한 방법을 활용해서 한국어의 형태 변화에 주목하고 덩이 형태로 표현을 제시한다. 유의 미한 과제 활동은 기능별 연습과 확장을 위해 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기를 연계하고 실제 생활에 바 로 활용할 수 있는 내용과 표현으로 구성했으므로 숙달도 향상과 대학 강의 수강을 위한 한 국어 능력도 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
