초록
영어
The purpose of this study is to explore the differences in expressions between languages, focusing on the prohibited expressions of Japanese and Korean that appear in Japanese-Korean remake dramas. For this purpose, consider the form of expression from the function of prohibition and the social distance and hierarchical relationship. Brown & Levinson (1987) described the directive expression as face- threatening acts (FTA). Among them, prohibited expressions restrict the behavior of the hearer, so sufficient attention should be paid to speech. In this study, the functions of prohibition were divided into three categories based on the state of realization of prohibited acts. Social distance was divided into two categories based on the Japanese terms “uchi”, “soto” and “yoso” and the Korean terms “uri” and “nam”. Hierarchical relationship was divided into three categories based on social roles and age differences.
