Millennials & Generation Z tends to avoid the older generation by dismissing them as old-timers, but the author recently gained a new understanding of the relationship between the older generation and the next generation by directly or indirectly experiencing the case of senior YouTuber Jang Myungsook and the case of cooperative mentors at small group chapel at a Christian university. In particular, the MZ generation, which has strong self-direction, can turn the tide of revival more effectively when they encounter the gospel in a noncoercive and authoritarian atmosphere. This article presents an example of ‘missional leadership’ suitable for the transformative ecclesiology of the missional church. We will reflect on what kind of leadership adults have, whether they can have a positive influence on future generations and help them enrich their lives, and whether they can serve as those who prepare the way to lead them to Christ.

MZ세대는 기성세대를 꼰대로 치부하며 회피하는 경향이 있는데, 필 자는 최근 시니어 유튜버 장명숙의 사례와 기독대학 소그룹채플 협력 멘토 의 사례를 직간접으로 경험하면서 기성세대와 다음 세대의 관계성에 대해 새롭게 인식하게 되었다. 특히 자기주도성이 강한 MZ세대는 강압적이고 권위적이지 않은 분위기에서 복음을 접촉할 때 오히려 효과적인 부흥의 물 꼬를 틀 수 있다. 이 글은 선교적 교회라는 변혁적 교회론에 적합한 ‘선교 적 리더십’의 사례를 보인다. 어떤 리더십을 가진 어른들이 후세대에 선한 영향력을 끼쳐 그들의 삶을 풍요롭게 하는데 조력할 수 있는지, 또 그래서 그들을 그리스도께로 인도하는 길을 예비하는 자로서 섬길 수 있는지 성찰 할 것이다.
