With the advent of a data-driven society, the importance of data literacy in education requires that teachers build data literacy skills. Data literacy for teachers refers to the ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and utilize various types of data in the educational process, translating these insights into educational actions. Generative AI can be used effectively to teach data literacy to teachers because it can help them learn data analysis quickly and easily. A data literacy education program using generative AI was designed using the ADDIE instructional design model, and the final program was developed by modifying and supplementing through effectiveness evaluation and response analysis. As a result of the effectiveness evaluation, the developed program was found to improve data literacy, but there were also points of improvement, such as expanding the program time and providing actual examples of the educational context. So, the final program was developed through modification and supplementation. The significance of this study is that it developed a data literacy education program for pre-service teachers and provided materials that can be used as a reference when developing or implementing education for pre-service teachers and teachers.

최근 교육 현장에서 데이터 활용 및 데이터기반 의사결정의 중요성이 강조되며 교사의 데이터 리터러시를 함양 하기 위한 교육의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 교사를 위한 데이터 리터러시는 교육 과정에서 획득 및 활용할 수 있는 다양한 유형의 데이터를 수집, 분석, 해석하여 이를 교육적 행동으로 연결하는 역량을 의미한다. 생성형 인공지능은 쉽고 빠르게 데이터 분석을 학습할 수 있도록 도와준다는 점에서 데이터 리터러시 교육 시 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 생성형 인공지능을 활용한 데이터 리터러시 교육 프로그램을 설계하고, 실행하여 효과성 평 가를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 개발된 프로그램은 데이터 리터러시를 향상시키는 것으로 나타났으나 프로그램 차시 확대, 교육적 맥락의 실사례 제공 등의 보완할 점도 발견되어, 설계한 프로그램을 수정 및 보완하여 최종 프로그 램을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 예비교사를 위한 데이터 리터러시 교육 프로그램을 개발함으로써, 예비교사 및 교사 를 위한 데이터 리터러시 교육을 설계 및 실행 시 참고할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 연구의 의의가 있다.
