The purpose of this paper is to understand how this study examines how the design of Bauhaus, which played a pioneering role in modernism, aroused perceptual sensibility in accordance with human vision and influenced perceptual sensibility through the mechanical perspective of Bauhaus’ workshop classes and Oskar Schlemmer’s triptych ballet. 이 연구의 목적은 그동안 모더니즘의 선구적 역할을 했던 바우하우스의 디자인이 어떻게 인간의 지각에 맞추어 감성을 일으켰는지 바우하우스의 수업형식과 오스카 슐레머의 삼부작 발레에서 나타난 기계적 관점을 중심으로 분석해보는 것이다. 이러한 부분에는 바우하우스의 대표적 디자인이었던 의자, 램프, 주방용기, 타이포그래피 등 이들의 지각적 특성과 이론이 함축되어있음을 알 수 있다. 그동안 바우하우스의 디자인은 데스틸과 구축주의, 미니멀리즘에 입각하여 실용적 관점을 토대로 현대 디자인의 역사에 지대한 업적을 남겨 왔다. 그 결과 바우하우스가 지향했던 직면과 곡면 위주의 심플한 디자인은 간결함과 편안함을 부각시키는 물성적 지각으로 설명될 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구의 결과는 인간의 공감각이 기하학적 형태와 관계함으로써 중성적 부드러움을 가지고 우리에게 모더니즘을 전하며 사물이 놓일 공간과 관련하고 있음을 뜻한다.
