This study examined the conflict in sports feminism regarding the exclusion and inclusion of transgender athletes, focusing on Schopenhauer's metaphysics and ethics. Schopenhauer argues that the cause of all conflicts in the world is egoism, which distinguishes and denies other beings for one's own existence, and emphasizes compassion as an alternative to escape egoism through ethics. From Schopenhauer's perspective, sports' exclusion of transgender athletes is judged to be an egoistic behavior that distinguishes them differently from existing sports participants, pursues victory rather than the will to participate in sports and the process of the game, and seeks to exist only for oneself. Therefore, in addition to establishing game rules for fair play, sports need to establish ethical education and systems to improve awareness of participating in sports and demonstrate compassion to harmonize with others. The content of how sports overcome egoism and resolve feminist conflicts through compassion will contribute to solving ethical problems that arise not only in sports but also in society. Just as countless conflicts arise and are resolved repeatedly in sports, and opportunities to participate in sports have expanded, we hope that sports feminism conflicts will also serve as an opportunity for the value of sports to become preferred and take a leap forward despite changes in the times.

본 연구는 쇼펜하우어의 형이상학과 윤리를 중심으로 트렌스젠더선수의 배제와 포용에 관한 스포츠 페미니즘 갈 등을 고찰하였다. 쇼펜하우어는 세계에 존재하는 모든 갈등의 원인을 자신의 존재를 위해 다른 존재를 구분하고 부정하는 이기주의로 주장하며, 윤리학을 통해 이기주의에서 벗어나기 위한 대안으로 동정심을 강조한다. 쇼펜하우어의 관점에서 스포츠가 트렌스젠더선수를 배제하는 것은 기존 스포츠 참가자와 다르게 구분하고, 스포츠에 참가하는 의지와 경기의 과정보다는 승리만을 추구하며, 자신만이 존재하려는 이기주의적인 행동으로 판단된다. 따라서 스포츠는 공정한 경기를 위한 경기규칙을 마련하는 것 이외에도 스포츠에 참가하는 인식을 개선하고 타인과 조화롭게 어우러질 수 있는 동정심을 발휘하기 위한 시스템과 윤리적 교육을 마련할 필요가 있다. 스포츠가 동정심을 통해 이기주의를 극복하고 페미니즘 갈등 을 해소하는 내용은 스포츠뿐만 아니라 사회에서 발생하는 윤리적 문제를 해결하는 데 기여할 것이다. 스포츠에서 수많은 갈등이 발생하고 해소되기를 반복하며 스포츠에 참여할 기회가 확대된 것 같이 스포츠 페미니즘 갈등 또한 시대의 변화에 도 스포츠의 가치가 선호되며 도약하는 계기가 되기를 기대한다.
