The purpose of this study was to examine the effect safety climate and perceived risk on safety awareness and safety behavior among ski resort users. In this study, a survey was conducted on people who visit P ski resort in Gangwon state and total 372 samples were used for practical analysis. Techniques for data analysis were frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, safety climate had a positive effect on safety awareness and safety behavior. Second, perceived risk had a positive effect on safety awareness and safety behavior. Third, safety awareness had a positive effect on safety behavior. Base of the result of the study, academic and practical implications for enhancing safety awareness and safety behavior of sports participants were discussed.

본 연구는 스키장 이용자들이 지각하는 스키장의 안전풍토와 위험지각이 안전의식과 안전행동에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 강원도 소재의 P스키장 이용자 400명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 372부 의 자료가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 자료처리를 위해 SPSS 23.0 프로그램과 AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 빈도 분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였 다. 첫째, 안전풍토는 안전의식과 안전행동에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 위험지각은 안전의식 과 안전행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 안전의식은 안전행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 스키장 이용자를 비롯한 스포츠 참여자의 안전의식과 안전행동 증진을 위한 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 논의하였다.
