The paradigm of ships is changing according to the development of industrial technology and changes in the environment of the times. In particular, The commercialization of MASS that combine the 4th industrial revolution technology with the existing ship operation system is actively promoted internationally. In order to commercialize ships of a new paradigm, it is necessary to prepare customized ship survey regulations. In this study, domestic ship survey regulations and current status of medium-sized ships were analyzed, and a survey was conducted on the commercialization of MASS targeting ship surveyors. The survey results determined the importance of ship survey items for existing ship(As Is)s and the importance of inspection items for MASS(To Be) using the AHP analysis method. And a direction for the development of survey regulations for medium-sized MASS was presented based on the difference(GAP between As Is and To Be). The results of this study will serve as a basis for the development of survey regulations for medium-sized MASS, and are expected to be used as basic data for policy establishment related to MASS in the future.

선박의 패러다임은 산업기술의 발전과 시대적 환경변화에 따라 변화하고 있다. 특 히, 국제적으로 기존의 선박운용시스템에 4차 산업혁명 기술을 접목한 자율운항선박 (MASS)의 상용화를 적극 추진하고 있다. 새로운 패러다임의 선박을 상용화하기 위 해서는 맞춤형 선박검사기준 마련이 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 선박검사 기준과 중형선박 현황을 분석하고, 선박검사원을 대상으로 자율운항선박의 상용화에 관련한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 결과는 AHP 분석법을 활용하여 현존선의 검사 항목 중요도(As Is)와 자율운항선박의 검사항목 중요도(To Be)를 결정하고 그 차이 (GAP)를 바탕으로 중형 자율운항선박의 검사기준 개발방안에 대한 방향성을 제시하 였다. 본 연구의 결과는 중형 자율운항선박의 검사기준 개발에 근거가 될 것이며, 향 후 자율운항선박관련 정책수립의 기초자료로 활용될 것이 기대된다.
