This paper purports to examine the position of the ‘Toiuka’ types in a sentence using Stata, and to reveal the characteristics and changes of each of ‘Toiuka’, ‘Tteiuka’, and ‘Teiuka’. The result of the analysis shows that among the types of ‘Toiuka,’ ‘Toiuka’ was located in the middle of the sentence and 'Teiuka' was located at the beginning of the sentence. And 99% of the 'Toiuka' type were used alone, and the repetition rate was 0.3%, showing relatively a large difference. Among a total of 684 sentences where the ‘Toiuka’ type was located in the middle of the sentence, 65% were located close to the beginning of the sentence. In conclusion, it can be seen objectively through the statistical analysis that the number of occurrences of the grammatical phenomena of ‘Toiuka’, ‘Tteiuka’, and ‘Teiuka’ gradually increases in the order of presentation. Such a finding is meaningful as previous studies failed to distinguish the types of ‘Toiuka’ with various variations and to examine the changes. To examine the changes more systematically and integrally, further studies on another type of ‘Toiuka’ are needed.

본고는 ‘というか’류의 문에서의 위치 및 이들의 변화 양상을 비교적 관점에서 고찰하여 언어 변화와의 관련성을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 첫째, ‘というか’류의 유형별 1회 출현 빈도의 분석결과, ‘っていうか’의 출현 비율이 40.34%로서 가장 높았으며 이어 ‘ていうか’도 31.11%가 되어 두 항목이 모두 ‘というか’가 보다 상대적으로 높은 수치를 나타냈다. 위와 같은 두 항목의 결과 수치는 ‘というか’의 구어체로서 사용 빈도가 높은 것으로 일컬어지는 ‘っていうか’와 ‘ていうか’라는 것에서 그 원인을 설명할 수 있다. 둘째, ‘というか’류의 문 위치별 출현 빈도의 분석결과, 전체적으로 ‘というか’류의 문 위치별 추이는 문말에서 문두로 이동하면서 상대적으로 상승하는 것으로 분석 가능하였다. 그러나 문중 위치 결과에 대해서는 보다 정밀한 분석이 필요하였고 이에 따른 문중 ‘というか’류의 문두 및 문말 근접 정도 분석 결과, 문중 ‘というか’류도 문두에 더 근접한 것으로 결과 도출이 가능하였다. 위와 같은 결과로부터 ‘というか’, ‘っていうか’, ‘ていうか’는 제시 순서대로 문법화의 정도가 점차 상승하고 있다는 것을 통계적 분석을 통해 객관적으로 밝힐 수 있었다. 이는 선행연구에서 다양한 변이형과 함께 구분없이 다루어져 왔던 ‘というか’류의 문법화에 대한 연구로서 의미를 가지며 금후에는 ‘というか’의 다른 이형태들을 연구 대상으로 이들의 변화 양상을 확장하여 살펴보고자 한다.
