By examining the practice and expandalbility of applied drama/theatre based on the case of the forum theatre by space for Theatre for the Oppressed (theatre group HAE), this study confirms that the forum theatre shares the main core of the applied theatre/drama that is flexibly explored and practiced every moment in consideration of the uniqueness and specificity of 'now' and 'here' centered on participants/people in the field. In addition, it is confirmed that the forum theatre "Sookja Story," which reveals the voices of comfort women who have experienced base a american military base village, can be a driving force to practice a "micro-revolution" that changes individual daily life with the characteristics of fertilization, catalyst, and theatre of "sa-ee", and to create a culture of "solidarity" that changes reality through daily practice. Through this study, the possibility of expanding discussion theatre as an applied theatre/drama is summarized and suggested as follows. First, applied theatre/drama is not just a skill, but a fundamental attribute of human beings, and it develops the power to broaden interest and understanding of people deeply and broadly. Second, in two contexts, the individual's microscopic point of view and the society's macro point of view, practice to continuously ask, check, and explore questions and develop interest in people. The forum theatre, which can function as "catalysts" that cause change through the dynamics of "between questions that are not fixed correct answers, possibilities that are not certain, and "catalysts" that cause change, have value as applied theatre/drama and have the potential to expand in various ways, so I hope that there will be more studies in which more diverse practical cases are shared.

본 연구는 극단 해의 토론연극 <숙자이야기> 사례를 중심으로 응용연극의 실천과 확장가능성을 살펴봄 으로써, 토론연극이 현장의 참여자/사람을 중심으로, ‘지금’ ‘여기’의 고유성과 특수성을 고려하여 매순 간 유동적으로 탐색하고 실천해나가는 응용연극으로서의 주요한 핵심을 공유하고 있음을 확인한다. 또한, 기지촌 경험 여성들의 목소리를 드러낸 토론연극 <숙자이야기>는 수정화와 촉매, ‘사이’의 연극 의 특성을 가지고 개인의 일상을 변화시키는 ‘미세혁명’을 실천하고, 일상의 연습을 통해 현실을 변화해 나가는 ‘연대’의 문화를 만들어 나가는 동력 이 될 수 있음을 확인한다. 본 연구를 통해, 응용연극으로서 의 토론연극의 확장 가능성은 다음과 같이 정리하고 제안한다. 첫째, 연극이 단순한 기술이 아니라, 인간의 근원적 속성으로 폭넓게 이해하고, 사람에 대한 관심과 이해를 깊게 그리고 넓게 확장시켜 나갈 수 있는 힘을 키운다. 둘째, 개인의 미시적 시점과 사회의 거시적 시점 두 개의 맥락 속에서 균형을 가지고 계속적으로 질문 하고 점검하고, 탐색해 나가는 연습과 사람에 대한 관심을 키워나간다. ‘정답이 아닌 질문으로, 확신이 아닌 가능성으로, 개체들을 이어주는 ‘사이’의 역학으로, 변화를 일으 키는 ‘촉매’로 기능할 수 있는 토론연극은 응용연극으로서의 가치를 가지며, 다양하게 확장해나갈 수 있 는 가능성을 지니고 있기에, 현장에서 그 가능성을 탐색하고 도전하고 실험하고 실천해나가는 응용연극 실천가들에게 응원을 보내며, 좀더 다양한 실천 사례들이 공유되는 연구가 많아지길 기대한다.
