This study aims to investigate the disciplinary cases handled by the eSports Fairness Committee and contribute to the sustainability of the eSports industry. As the eSports industry grows and expands, various legal disputes are anticipated, yet research in this area remains scant. Through this study, we aim to achieve the following objectives: First, we will verify the legal basis and significance of the eSports Fairness Committee. Second, we will analyze the disciplinary procedures according to the regulations and interpret the significance of specific disciplinary cases. Third, we will explore suggestions for the improvement and smooth operation of the eSports Fairness Committee's regulations. By reviewing past disciplinary cases, we aim to identify and rectify discovered issues, and enhance the provision of opportunities for interrogation and argument during the disciplinary process. Additionally, disciplinary actions should be administered based on the nature of the offense, the scope of disciplinary reasons, the responsibility regulations of the affiliated organizations, and appropriate regulations in cases involving minors, and the necessity of publicizing these actions should be assessed. If the eSports Fairness Committee adopts the proposed recommendations, it could significantly contribute to the sustainable development of the eSports industry.

본 연구는 e스포츠 공정위원회의 징계처분 사례를 연구하고, 이를 통해 e스포츠산업의 지속가능성 향상에 기여하고자 한다. e스포츠산업의 성장과 더불어 산업의 규모가 확대됨에 따라 다양한 법적 분쟁이 발생할 것으로 예상되지만, 이 에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 목적을 이루고자 한다. 첫째, e스포츠 공정위원회의 법 적 근거와 의의를 확인한다. 둘째, 규정에 따른 징계 절차와 구체적인 징계 처분의 사례를 분석하여 의의를 해석한다. 셋째, e스포츠 공정위원회의 규정 정비 및 원활한 운영을 위한 제안점을 모색한다. 과거의 징계 사례 검토를 통해 발 견된 문제점들을 개선하고, 징계 과정에서의 심문과 변론 기회 제공을 강화해야 한다. 또한 징계 혐의 사실이 발생하 는 영역에 따라, 징계 사유별 범위에 따라, 소속 단체의 책임 규정에 따라, 미성년자가 관련된 상황에서의 적절한 규 정에 따라 징계를 처분하고, 이를 공표할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구를 통해 제안된 제안점을 e스포츠 공정회가 받아들 여 규정의 발전을 모색한다면, e스포츠산업의 지속가능한 발전에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.
