This study focused on the effects of environmental factors as well as personal and social norms on eco-friendly tourism behavior for young tourists aged between 19 and 34. As a result of the analysis, it was found that all factors such as environmental consciousness, environmental concerns, and environmental knowledge of young tourists are influenced by personal norms. However, tourists’ environmental knowledge did not affect social norms, and personal norms had an effect on eco-friendly tourism behavior. On the other hand, social norms did not affect eco-friendly tourism behavior. Therefore, it is important to create social background to increase tourists' awareness and interest in the environment forthcoming era and environmental knowledge can be easily learned in their everyday life. It is significant to constantly inform and promote viable eco-friendly behaviors in tourist destinations, focusing on social norms as well as personal norms of tourists.

이 연구는 만 19세부터 만 34세까지인 청년층 관광객를 대상으로 환경적 요인과 개인적 및 사회적 규범이 친환경 관광행동에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 분석 결과 청년층 관광객의 환경의식, 환경관심과 환경지식을 포함한 환경적 요인이 개인적 규범에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 환경적 요인과 사회적 규범의 영향관계에서는 환경지식이 사회적 규범에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인적 규범은 친환경 관광행동에 영향을 미치는 반면 사회적 규범은 친환경 관광행동에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유명 관광지는 관광객의 환경에 대한 의식과 관심을 더욱 높이기 위해 지속적인 노력을 해야 함과 동시에 환경지식을 일상생활에서 쉽게 배울 수 있도록 사회적 분위기를 만들어야 한다. 관광객의 개인적 규범도 중요하게 인식되고 있지만 이와 동시에 사회적 규범도 중요하다는 것을 인식하고 방문 관광지에서 직접 실행 가능한 친환경 행동에 대해 꾸준히 알리고 홍보해야 할 것이다.
