Effect of plant growth regulators on in vitro protocorm production of Gastrodia eleta

초록

영어

This study was carried out to establish in vitro protocorm production of G. elata. Protocorms were placed on different plant growth regulators (PGRs). Which are benzylaminopurine (BA), zeatin (ZA), kinetin (KN), and thidiazuron (TDZ) with hyponex media at concentrations 0.2 mg l-1 and 1 mg l-1, respectively. The number of protocorm of G. elata was measured to investigate new protocorm and found the most suitable PGRs concentration. 16 protocorms were proliferated in BA 1mg l-1 and the best results were obtained. On the other hand, almost all the cultures treated with TDZ did not show protocorm proliferation. In ZA, there was no significant difference compared to control, and Kin was less proliferative than control. In conclusion, protocorm proliferation was superior in BA treatments.
