Location environment and Community characteristics of Acer tegmentosum Maxim of Gangwon province

The purpose of this study was to provide data for preservation in local conservation by analyzing the association between growth characteristics and natural habitat vegetation of Acer tegmentosum. Research area was selected 15 standard area from Taebaek-si, Hongcheon-gun, Jeongseon-gun, Chuncheon-si, Inje-gun. In order to investigate location enviroment and community characteristic of Acer tegmentosum, carried out cluster, species diversity and multivariate analysis, physicochemical properties of soil analysis. Based on these results, Acer tegmentosum prefers northen slope, an average altitude about 477~1,115m of valley and moist area. Community structure of Acer tegmentosum’s habitats are grouped into three community, Plant community was confirmed Acer tegmentosum, Tilia amurensis, Pseudostellaria palibiniana, Cornus controversa, Ainsliaea acerifolia, Kalopanax septemlobus, Weigela subsessilisin the near distance. communities by upper dominant species were confirmed that the matter of Quercus mongolicaall three communities is high, Acer pictum subsp.mono in the 1 community (13.56%) represents the importance value. In the species diversity analysis , species diversity index (0.73), the maximum species diversity index(0.93), fungus ash (0.91) in 1 community showed the highest, It is considered 1 community is main habitat located in the valley. It was confirmed soil organic matter(OM) is about three times higher of Gangwon province average(4.93) and cation exchange capacity(CEC) is about twice times higher of Gangwon province average(13.4). The factor of community distribution has a significant impact on the Ca2+(0.424),CEC(0.783),K+(0.733),Na+(0.514) and OM(0.743).
