Research is presenting the necessity and effectiveness of psychological education. Psychological education goes beyond simply imparting psychological content, It can be seen as a process where emotional reflection and growth occur through the educational process. This is because both the provider and participant of education move beyond the mere transmission of knowledge to focus on emotional exchange. Christian(Pastoral) counseling, within the realm of practical theology, has the most direct relevance to psychological education. Additionally, proposals are needed for the application of psychological education based on Christian(Pastoral) counseling in the field of ministry in Korea. Psychological education cannot proceed solely as a one-way traditional educational approach between educators and participants. It becomes more effective when there’s bidirectional exchange of values and thoughts between the educator and the participants. To become a psychological education program that can be applied and implemented in actual ministry settings, effective application of scripture, readily understood by everyone in the church, is essential. Scripture can serve as a textbook without the need for elaborate explanations or pre-understanding, while also stimulating imagination and allowing for free suggestion and application for the participants. From the perspective of reader-response criticism, which focuses on active reader participation, and drawing from the background of narrative therapy that suggests participants can reconstruct or recreate their lives, a scripture-based psychological education program is proposed through journal therapy. Such a program would help maintain the framework of Christianity and theology through scripture as a reference point for both educators and participants, while providing a basis for theological thinking from a more creative perspective for the participants. Through the implementation of a scripture-based psychological education program, the theological thinking of members within Korean churches can be promoted, and the direction of theological thinking can expand from past unilateral growth to bidirectional or multidirectional growth. This expansion of directionality can provide an opportunity for our Korean churches to establish a spiral growth axis in qualitative growth. Furthermore, through the spiral growth process of theological thinking, the scope and framework of thinking within Korean churches and theology can be expanded beyond previous limits.

심리교육의 필요성과 효과에 대한 연구가 제시되고 있다. 심리교육은 단순히 심리 적인 내용을 교육하는 관점에서 머물지 않고, 교육의 과정을 통해 정서적 성찰과 성 장이 이어지는 과정으로 볼 수 있다. 그 이유는 교육을 제공하는 사람과 교육에 참여 하는 사람이 단순히 지식의 전달에 목표를 두는 것을 넘어, 정서적 교류에 방점을 두 기 때문이다. 실천신학의 영역인 기독(목회)상담은 심리교육에 가장 직접적인 연관성 을 가지고 있는 분야이다. 더불어 기독(목회)상담을 기반으로 심리교육이 실천신학과 한국의 목회현장에 적용될 수 있는 방향과 방법에 대한 제안이 필요하다. 심리교육은 단순히 교육을 제공하는 사람과 교육을 참여하는 사람간에 일방향적인 기존 교육의 방식으로 진행되기는 어렵다. 교육을 제공하는 사람과 교육에 참여하는 사람이 서로 양방향적으로 서로의 가치와 생각을 교환할 때에 보다 효과성을 확보할 수 있다. 이 런 심리교육이 실제 목회현장에서 적용되고 실행될 수 있는 심리교육 프로그램이 되 기 위해서는 교회에서 누구나 이해하고 있는 성서의 적용이 효과적이다. 심리교육이 주로 실시되는 교회에서 성서는 특별한 설명과 선이해가 필요없는 교재로서 역할을 할 수 있기 때문이다. 그리고 성서는 교육에 참여하는 사람에게 상상력을 촉진하여 자유로운 제안과 적용이 가능하게 하는 통로가 되기도 한다. 본 연구는 이러한 제안 과 적용의 실제적인 실행을 위해 심리교육의 참여자가 자신의 삶을 재구성 또는 재창 조해낼 수 있다는 관점을 가지고 있는 이야기치료라는 큰 배경에 독자의 능동적 참여에 관심을 두는 독자반응비평의 관점에서 성서를 조망하며, 매체치료(저널치료)의 실 행방법을 통해 구성되는 성서기반 심리교육 프로그램을 제안한다. 성서기반 심리교육 프로그램은 교회에서 교육을 제공하는 사람과 교육에 참여하는 사람 모두에게 성서라 는 기준점을 통해 기독교와 신학이라는 틀을 유지할 수 있도록 도와주며, 교육에 참 여하는 사람들에게는 보다 창의적인 관점에서 신학적 사고의 기반을 제공한다. 성서 기반 심리교육 프로그램의 실행을 통해 한국교회 속 구성원들의 신학적 사고를 촉진 하고, 신학적 사고의 방향이 과거 일방향에서 양방향 또는 다뱡향으로 확장될 수 있 다. 이러한 방향성의 확장은 우리 한국교회가 질적성장에 있어 나선형적 성장축을 구 축하는 계기를 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 신학적 사고의 나선형적 성장의 과정을 통해 한국교회와 신학에서의 사고의 범위와 틀이 이전보다 더 확장될 수 있는 기반이 조성될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
