This study aimed to explore strategies for utilizing historical and cultural resources in Goyang Special Case City by considering its local context. Recognizing the challenge of underutilization despite extensive research in this field, the study aimed to propose 'history-culture'-based content that maximizes the unique historical resources of Goyang Special Case City from a fresh perspective. To accomplish this, the study conducted a comprehensive analysis of the locality and interviewed experts to understand the significance and potential directions for utilizing historical and cultural resources effectively. Building on these insights, the study formulated keywords, themes, and strategies for resource utilization and provided concrete support plans for their implementation. During the process, the study also gathered opinions from various generations through surveys to systematically utilize the historical and cultural resources of Goyang Special Case City. The study's primary findings, incorporating local characteristics, policy considerations, expert insights, and the needs of residents and tourists, are expected to serve as valuable references for planning and advancing various policy initiatives related to historical and cultural resource utilization in Goyang Special Case City.

본 연구는 고양특례시의 지역성에 대한 고찰을 토대로 역사문화자원의 활용방안을 모색한 연구이다. 그동안 역사문화자원에 대한 조사 연구가 축적되어 왔으나 이에 대한 효과적인 활용이 부족하다는 문제의식에서 시작하여, 고양특례시 역사문화자원의 가치를 새로운 시각에서 발굴함으로써 특색 있는 역사적 자원을 효과 적으로 활용하기 위한 ‘역사문화’ 기반 콘텐츠를 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 고양특례시의 지역성을 깊이 있게 살펴보고, 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 고양특례시 역 사문화자원 활용의 의미와 방향성을 모색하였다. 또한, 이러한 논의들을 기반으로 역사문화자원 활용의 주제어, 테마 등을 설계하였고, 이러한 전략들이 실제적으 로 수행되기 위한 구체적인 지원 방안을 제시하였다. 그 과정에서 본 연구는 설문조사를 통해 고양특례시의 역사문화자원을 보다 체계적으로 활용하기 위한 다양 한 세대의 의견도 수렴하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과물들은 고양특례시의 지역적 특징, 정책적 이슈, 전문가 의견, 지역민·관광객 수요 등을 통합적으로 반영한 것으 로, 고양특례시의 역사문화자원 활용과 관련된 다양한 정책 사업을 기획·추진하는 데 참고할 수 있는 주요한 자료가 될 것으로 기대하였다.
