This study applied quantitative and qualitative integrated research methods to verify the impact of dance majors' image shaping training on dance performance, and selected 12 dance majors in the metropolitan area, 6 in the training group and 6 in the control group. . Difference analysis was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests to identify individuals' dance performance and dance psychological skills, and changes were examined through self-reported experience diaries in the form of open-ended questions. As a result, the overall dance performance and immersion were statistically significantly improved in both the training group and the control group, so the effect of the image shaping program was not confirmed. However, the image shaping program implemented in the training group was effective in improving the overall dance performance and immersion of ballet majors. The results showed that it was effective in improving technical skills and immersion. In addition, the average ranking of dance psychological skills, clarity, and control of the training group was higher than that of the control group, indicating that the image shaping program is effective.

이 연구는 무용전공자의 이미지 형상화 훈련이 무용수행력에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 양적질적 통합적 연 구방법을 적용하였으며, 수도권 지역의 무용 전공자 12명을 대상으로 훈련집단 6명, 통제집단 6명을 선정하였 다. 개인의 무용 수행력과 무용 심리 기술을 파악하기 위한 사전검사 및 사후검사를 통해 차이분석을 진행하였 으며, 개방형 질문형식인 자기보고식 경험일지를 통해 변화를 살펴보고자 하였다. 결과적으로 무용수행력 전체 와 몰입은 훈련집단과 통제집단 모두 사후 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되어 이미지 형상화 프로그램의 효과가 확인되진 않았지만, 훈련집단에서 시행한 이미지 형상화 프로그램이 발레 전공자의 무용수행력 전체와 무용기술력, 몰입 향상에 효과가 있다는 결과가 도출되었다. 또한, 훈련집단의 무용심리기술, 선명도, 조절력의 평균순위가 통제집단보다 높게 나타나 이미지 형상화 프로그램이 효과가 있다고 할 수 있다.
