This study aims to explore how inclusive art, an art form fostered through the interaction and collaboration among artists from diverse backgrounds, can be implemented in an international setting. It examines the inclusive art practices of artists with and without disabilities, with a focus on the international collaboration between Project YYIN and the National Access Art Centre of Canada, a project jointly funded by Korea and Canada in 2023. This study reviews the existing literature and policy background and presents findings and implications based on the framework of action research, analyzing the objective, background, and process of the case. The findings highlight the provision of non-disabled facilitators and accessibility, the importance of inclusive attitudes of institutions for sustainable collaborations, the fostering of artistic possibilities through the active participation of artists with disabilities, and the possibility of unpredictability and risk-taking, and how to build relationships between collaborators. The significance of this study lies in providing concrete examples of how inclusive arts can be integrated and enacted in both theory and practice through artistic endeavors in the arts field.

본 연구는 다양한 배경을 가진 예술가들 간의 상호작용 및 협력을 통해 실천되는 예술형태인 포용적 예술이 국제 적 환경에서 어떻게 운영되고 확장될 수 있는지 탐색하고자 한다. 특히, 2023년 한-캐나다 공동기금사업으로 운영된 프로젝트 이인(한국)과 내셔널엑세스아트센터(캐나다)의 국제협업사례를 중심으로 장애, 비장애 예술가들의 협업 과 정을 분석한다. 본 연구는 기존 문헌연구들과 정책적 배경을 검토하고 실행연구의 틀을 기반으로 사례의 기획 의도 와 배경, 과정 분석을 통해 발견 및 시사점을 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 비장애 조력자와 접근성의 제공, 지속 가능한 협업을 위한 기관의 포용적 태도의 중요성, 장애예술가의 주체적 참여를 통한 예술적 가능성 함양. 예측 불가능성과 위험감수의 가능성, 협업자 간의 관계 형성 방안 등이 도출되었다. 이 연구는 실제 예술현장에서 포용적 예술의 실천 을 통해 포용적 예술이 이론과 실제에서 어떻게 결합되고 실행될 수 있는지에 대한 구체적인 사례를 제공한다는 점 에서 의의가 있다.
