The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of rotator cuff management program combined with myofascial treatment and clary sage scent on pain relief in women with shoulder pain. The EEG was measured using a dry EEG machine and a brain function analysis program. The scented oil containing clarissage was inhaled directly and naturally through the nose during the treatment, and an independent samples t-test was performed after the EEG measurement. The results of the study showed significant resting EEG in the prefrontal, temporal, and O1 regions in response to the scent, except for O2. The high change in the ratio of alpha waves. Therefore, this study is significant as an empirical study that considers the relaxation effect of human body in the field of beauty healthcare from the perspective of human physiology. Based on this, we hope that Cemoprevention's beauty healthcare convergence research using various medical plants will be carried out in the future.

본 연구의 목적은 어깨통증을 호소하는 여성들에게 향을 이용한 회전근개 관리가 여성의 통증완화에 미 치는 영향을 규명함에 있다. 이에 근막관리와 클라리세이지 향을 병행한 회전근개 관리프로그램을 처치한 후 뇌파 분석을 실시하였다. 뇌파의 측정도구로는 건식뇌파기기를 사용해서 뇌기능분석 프로그램을 사용하였다. 클라리세이 지 향이 함유된 향유를 사용해 관리받는 동안 코를 통해 직접적으로 자연스럽게 흡입하도록 하였고, 뇌파측정 후 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과, O2를 제외한 향에 반응하는 전전두엽, 측두엽, O1에서 유의미한 안 정뇌파가 확인되었다. 이완뇌파인 알파파의 비율이 높게 변한 것은 향유에 함유된 클라리세이지 향이 회전근개관 리와 융합되어 이완반응을 극대화한 것으로 보인다. 따라서 본 연구는 인체생리학적 관점에서 뷰티헬스케어 영역 의 인체 이완효과를 입중한 실증적 연구로의 의의가 있다. 이를 기반으로 향후 다양한 Medical Plants를 활용한 Cemoprevention의 뷰티헬스케어 융합연구가 이뤄지기를 바라는 바이다.
