This study analyzed the mounted cup excavated from the southern tombs of Hwangnamdaechong, and tried basic classification and some interpretations accordingly. First of all, as a result of analyzing the one-tier mounted cup found in the male tombs of Hwangnamdaechong through principal component analysis, it was found that each cluster can be classified into four clusters, and each cluster can be judged by each production group or producer, and that the pattern of change over time is not so large. Next, in the case of the two-tier mounted cup, it was possible to classify it into four large clusters, just like the one-tier mounted cup, but it was also possible to interpret each cluster by reflecting temporal attributes. In other words, each cluster could be judged as a separate production group or producer, but it could be divided into early and late productions even within the middle of the 5th century under the assumption that the master of the southern tombs of Hwangnamdaechong was King Nulji. From this point of view, it is not awkward that the southern tombs of the Hwangnamdaechong was buried with a form similar to that of the previous five centuries and a form similar to that of the later five centuries. It is also possible to think about the possibility that various daily products and department items for the king or upper class were continuously managed and controlled through the existence of goods storage warehouses at the time.

본고는 황남대총 남분에서 출토된 일단투창고배와 이단투창고배를 분석하고, 기본적인 분류와 그에 따른 몇몇 해석을 시도해 보았다. 먼저 주성분분석을 통해 황남대총 남분 출토 일단투창고배를 분석해본 결과 네 개의 군집으로 분류가 가능하고, 각 군집은 각각의 제작 집단 혹은 제작자 등으로 판단할 수 있으며, 시간의 흐름에 따른 변화 양상이 크지 않다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 다음으로 이단투창고배의 경우 일단투창고배와 마찬가지로 크게 네 개의 군집으로 분류가 가능하였으나, 각 군집에 시간성을 반영한 해석도 가능하였다. 즉, 각 군집을 각각의 제작 집단 혹은 제작자 등으로 판단할 수도 있으나 남분의 피장자가 눌지왕이라는 가정 하에 5세기 중엽 내에서도 이른 시기에 제작된 것과 늦은 시기에 제작된 것 등으로 구분해 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 관점에서는 황남대총 남분에 5세기 전엽의 것과 비슷한 형태의 고배와 5세기 후엽에 가까운 형태의 고배가 함께 부장된 것이 어색한 것이 아니며, 당시 물장고, 물장전 등의 존재를 통해 왕이나 상위 계층을 위한 여러 일상품과 부장품이 지속적으로 관리, 통제되었을 가능성도 생각해볼 수 있다.
