This study examines the moderating effect of subjective well-being on suicidal ideation in adolescents with smartphone addiction and Game addiction. The data utilized for this study is the 2021 data from the Korea Child and Youth Happiness Survey, which has been conducted annually since 2009 by Yonsei University's Institute for Social Development. In this study, we analyzed middle school students. The research methods were descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The analysis showed that smartphone addiction and gaming addiction among adolescents were associated with suicidal ideation. In addition, subjective well-being, a psychological characteristic of adolescents, was found to have no effect on suicidal ideation. Finally, we examined the moderating effect of subjective happiness between media addiction and suicidal ideation in adolescents, which was the ultimate goal of this study, but it was found to have no statistically significant effect. Based on the above findings, several implications are provided for building a foundation for the study of martphone addiction and Game addiction and suicidal ideation in adolescents.

이 연구는 청소년의 스마트폰 중독과 게임중독이 자살충동에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 주 관적 행복감의 조절효과를 살펴보는데 그 의의가 있다. 연구에 활용된 자료는 한국방정환재 단의 지원으로 2009년부터 매년 연세대학교 사회발전연구소가 주관하고 있는 ‘한국 아동⋅ 청소년 행복지수 조사’의 2021년 자료이다. 이 연구는 중학생만을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였 으며, 연구방법은 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 분석결과 청소년의 스마트폰 중독과 게임 중독은 자살충동에 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났지만, 청소년의 주관적 행복감은 자살충동에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 이 연구의 궁극적인 목적인 청소년의 스마트폰 중독과 게임중독이 자살 충동에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 주관적 행복감의 조절효과를 살펴보았지만, 통계적으로 유의 미한 조절효과가 존재하지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 스마트폰 중독과 게임중독, 자살충동 등에 관한 기초자료 구축을 위한 시사점을 제공하였다.
