The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of leisure sport instructor’s safety management levels and participants’ safety accident recognition on the exercise continuance. 190 samples were collected by a convenience-sampling-method, which population ware adults who registered exercise programs operated by leisure sport instructors at sports facilities in Seoul and Gangwon. Among them, 190 samples were analysed and 9 samples were excluded as they were regarded as unreliable. According to the purpose of this study, those were analyzed by frequency, exploratory factor, reliability, correlation and multiple regression analysis through SPSS Version 21 statistical program. As the results, the following conclusions were derived. Firstly, leisure sport instructor’s safety management levels had a partly positive(+) influence on the exercise continuance of participants. Secondly, participants’ safety accident recognition had a partly positive(+) influence on the exercise continuance.

본 연구는 생활스포츠지도사의 안전관리 수준과 참여자의 안전사고 인식이 운동지속의사에 미치는 영향을 검증 하는데 목적이 있다. 서울특별시와 강원특별자치도 관내에 있는 운동시설에서 생활체육지도사가 진행하는 운동프로그 램을 등록한 성인을 모집단으로 총 190명의 표본을 편의표집방법을 이용하여 수집을 하였고, 이중 신뢰할 수 없다고 판단 된 9명의 자료를 제외한 총 181부의 자료를 실제 분석에 사용하였다. 연구목적에 따라 SPSS Version 21 통계 프로그램 을 사용하여 빈도분석과 탐색적 요인분석 그리고 신뢰도 분석 후 상관관계분석 마지막으로 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 생활스포츠지도사의 안전관리 수준은 참여자의 운동지속의사에 부분적으로 긍정 적(+)인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 참여자의 안전사고 인식은 운동지속의사에 부분적으로 긍정적(+)인 영향을 미쳤다.
