The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between academic interest, dance ability achievement, and class attitude in expressive activity classes. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 330 middle school students located in the metropolitan area were selected using convenience sampling method, and the selected research subjects were surveyed using questionnaires. During the research process, 320 questionnaires were collected, and excluding 28 questionnaires with missing information, a final 302 questionnaires were used. The collected survey data were coded and then analyzed using the SPSS 28.0 statistical program for Windows. The analysis procedure was carried out in the following order. First, the normality of the data was verified through descriptive statistical analysis, and then exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and reliability verification(Cronbach’α) were performed to verify the validity of each factor. Afterwards, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to verify the correlation between the variables. The findings were as follows: First, academic interest has positive correlations with dance achievement ability and class attitudes. Second, academic interest had positive effects on dance achievement ability. Third, academic interest had positive effects on class attitudes. Fourth, dance achievement ability had positive effects on class attitudes.

이 연구의 목적은 표현활동 수업에서의 학업적 흥미와 무용능력 성취 및 수업태도의 관계를 규명하는데 있었다. 이와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 수도권에 있는 중학교에 재학중인 학생 330명을 편의표본추출법 (convenience sampling method)으로 선정하였으며, 선정된 연구대상에게 설문지로 조사를 하였다. 조사과정에서 설문지 320부가 수집되었으며 기재가 누락된 자료 28부를 제외하고, 최종 302부의 자료가 이용되었다. 수집된 설문자료 는 코딩한 후에 Window용 SPSS 28.0 통계 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 분석절차는 다음의 순서로 진행되었다. 먼저, 기술통계 분석으로 자료의 정규성을 검증한 후 요인별로 타당성을 검증하기 위해 탐색적 요인분석(EFA)과 신뢰도 검증 (Cronbach’α)을 하였으다. 이후 구성된 요인간에 상관관계분석(correlation analysis)과 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 변인간의 연관성을 검증하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학업적 흥미와 무용능력성취, 수업태도는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 학업적 흥미는 무용능력 성취는 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 학업적 흥미는 수업태도에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 넷째, 무용능력 성취는 수업태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
