The purpose of this Study is to Study the Sigimsae of Yukjabaegitori, focusing on the lyrics of , one of Namdo Folk Songs. The research method was to record Hong Seung-ja's ‘Heungtaryeong’ in Jeongganbo and analyze Sigimsae. The conclusion is as follows. First, when singing, Sigimsae should not be lost in conveying the meaning and atmosphere of the Song. Second, since Folk Songs have been passed down orally, the same lyrics of the same Song are expressed differently depending on who Sings and listens. Third, the Song of has the unique regional Sigimsae of Namdo Folk Songs that cannot be fully expressed through symbols alone. Fourth, it has a melody in which the preceding note rises upward and then falls in order to make the note thicker. In the future, we hope that more research on various Sigimsae will be conducted and recorded so that Folk music, the people's Song, can be sung and passed down to more people and be passed down to future generations.

본 연구는 남도민요의 하나인 <흥타령>의 가사를 중심으로 육자배기토리의 시김새를 연구하는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 홍승자 선생의 ‘흥타령’을 정간보로 채록하여 시김새를 분석하 였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시김새는 노래를 할 때 노래가 가지고 있는 분위기와 함께 뜻 을 전달함에 빠져서는 안 된다. 둘째, 민요는 구전심수로 전해져 내려온 만큼 부르는 사람과 듣 는 사람에 따라서 같은 노래의 같은 가사지만 다르게 표현되어진다. 셋째, <흥타령>의 노래 속 에 기호만으로는 다 표현할 수 없는 남도민요가 가지고 있는 특유의 지역성의 시김새를 가지고 있다. 넷째, 음을 굵게 떨어주기 위해 앞의 음을 위로 솟구쳐서 툭 떨어지는 음의 선율을 가지 고 있다. 앞으로 더 많은 다양한 시김새의 연구가 진행되고 기록되어 민중의 노래인 민속음악이 더 많은 사람에게 불리고 전해져서 후손들에게 잘 전달되기를 기대한다.
