This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between work types and emotional labor among medical technicians in the hospital. The measurement of emotional labor revealed that the "emotional dissonance and damage" aspect scored the highest. Seven sub-areas were investigated based on job type, with diagnostic labor medicine and blood collection room work showing a strong correlation with the work department. The workplace environment was also found to be influential, while full-time employees showed higher levels of emotional labor based on employment type. However, weekly working hours had a weak correlation. To address emotional labor, participants expressed a need for an appropriate response manual due to the lack of resolution caused by parties' silence and passive workplace responses. Clinical pathologists constantly experience emotional labor due to the nature of their work. In order to resolve emotional labor and unfair treatment, efforts should be continued to reduce emotional labor by presenting accurate guidelines such as response manuals through institutional supplementation and establishing operator training and educational systems in institutions to put these into practice.

이 연구는 임상병리사들의 근무 형태를 각각의 특성에 따라 구분하고, 감정노동의 발생 현황을 측정 하여 근무 형태와 감정노동과의 상관성을 조사하며, 이에 따른 감정노동 해결방안을 제시하고자 실시하 였다. 감정노동의 측정에서 3개의 하위 영역 중 ‘감정 부조화 및 손상’ 부분이 가장 점수가 높았다. 근 무 형태별로는 7개 하위 영역에 대하여 조사하였다. 근무부서는 진단검사의학과 채혈실 업무가, 근무처 는 의원급이, 고용 형태에서는 정규직이 감정노동 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 주간 근무시간 은 상관성이 낮았다. 감정노동 해결 노력 방안 문항에서는 당사자의 침묵과 직장의 소극적 대처로 감정 노동 문제가 해결되지 않아, 적절한 대응 매뉴얼이 제공되기를 바라는 인원이 가장 많았다. 임상병리사 는 업무의 특성상 감정노동이 지속적으로 발생한다. 감정노동과 부당 대우를 해결하기 위해서는 제도적 보완을 통한 대응 매뉴얼과 같은 정확한 가이드라인을 제시하고, 이를 실천할 수 있도록 운영자 교육과 기관에서의 교육시스템을 구축함으로써 감정노동을 감소시키기 위한 노력이 지속되어야 한다.
