This study aims to investigate the cited literature of the sections for people with strange talent in Volume 7 of Jinbeolhuigosokpyeon along with their organization and compilation characteristics. As for cited literature, the study was able to supplement what was not addressed in previous studies with the materials of “Choi Saeng,” “Gigijeongrang,” “Lee Geun,” and “Yu Eung-bu” and found that the records of “Shin Gyeong-yeon” and “Jemal” were closely related to the texts of Piseorok of Yeolhailgi. By comparing the book with Jinhuisokgo, the researcher discovered the intention to exclude overlapping figures as well as certain parts that did not fit the nature of the catalog and edited the book with a focus on strange records. The researcher succinctly presents the selected core parts of each article in the cited literature of the sections for people with strange talent in Volume 7. Then, the texts of an article were classified into several catalogs and reorganized. In addition, the researcher reorganized and adapted the sentences of the article anew and colorfully embodied figures by organically rearranging various cited work. As for records, th study compiled the sections in a way that the distinct characteristics of people with strange talent would be shown clearly in various methods by changing expressions in one or two letters, boldly deleting unnecessary sentences, adding new phrases, or reorganizing the sentence order. These were the achievements that the study made by extensively surveying various pieces of literature, taking pains on them, and trying “convergence & expansion” and “reorganization & adaptation.”

본 논문은 『진벌휘고속편』 가운데 제7책에 수록된 기재류 편에 초점을 맞추어 인용문헌과 편제, 편찬의 특징을 밝힌 것이다. 인용문헌에 있어서는 ‘최생(崔生)’, ‘기기정랑(箕妓情郞)’, ‘이근(李謹)’, ‘유응부(兪應孚)’ 등의 자료에서 기존의 연구에서 밝히지 못했던 부분을 보완할 수 있었으며, ‘신경연(辛慶衍)’과 ‘제말(諸沫)’에 대한 기록이 『열하일기(熱河日記)』 ｢피서록(避暑錄)｣의 글과 밀접한 관련이 있는 문헌임을 밝혔다. 또한 『진휘속고(震彙續考)』와의 비교를 통해 중복된 인물 및 편목의 성격에 부합하지 않는 것은 배제하고, 기이한 행적에 초점을 맞추어 새롭게 편집하려 한 편자의 의도를 파악할 수 있었다. 편자는 제7편 기재류 편에서 인용문헌의 한 조목 속에서 핵심 부분만을 뽑아 간결하게 제시하기도 하고, 한 조목의 글에서 여러 가지 편목으로 분류하여 재편하기도 하였다. 또한 하나의 조목에 담긴 문장을 새롭게 재편하고 일부 개작을 가하기도 하였으며, 다양한 인용문헌을 유기적으로 재배치하여 인물을 다채롭게 형상화해 내었다. 그리고 기록에 있어서는 한두 글자씩 표현을 바꾸는 것에서부터 불필요한 문장을 과감하게 삭제하거나 새로운 문구를 추가하고, 문장의 순서를 재편성하기도 하는 등 다양한 방법을 통해 기재류 인물의 특색이 명료하게 드러날 수 있도록 편찬하였다. 이는 편자가 다양한 문헌을 방대하게 조사하고 고심하며 ‘수렴과 확장’, ‘재편과 각색’을 통해 이루어낸 성취라는 점에서 의미가 있다.
