The purpose of this study is to analyze the "news" of Living Waters to reveal the overall faith aspect of the Korea Holiness Church. The "news" of Living Waters was mostly written by local churches. Thus, analyzing and arranging the "news" of Living Waters would be a good attempt to read the overall faith aspect of the Korea Holiness Church. This study categorized the articles in "News" of Living Waters by content and collected statistics. "Meeting news" was the largest, with more than 40 percent of all articles. This indicates that the faith aspect of the Korea Holiness Church is centered on Meeting. Revival meeting was the most of meetings, evangelistic meeting and prayer meeting was followed, and there were few holiness meetings which have the central feature of Korea Holiness Church. At the same time, the revival meeting featured the characteristics of holiness meeting. This was seen as an assimilation that adhered to the identity of the Korea Holiness Church to the Korean Protestant community, which practiced a lot of revival meeting at that time. Another aspect of the faith of the Korea Holiness Church was the soul salvation and grace experience-oriented faith. Being meeting-oriented implies the soul salvation and grace experience. Various meetings of the Korea Holiness Church were accompanied by soul salvation and grace experience, and even in Sunday schools for children were meetings overwhelmingly held, and soul salvation and grace experience appeared. The articles classified as "faith experience" revealed the soul salvation and grace-oriented faith aspects of the Korea Holiness Church.

본 연구의 목적은 『활천』의 “소식”을 분석하여 한국성결교회의 전체적 인 신앙 양태를 드러내는 것이다. 『활천』의 “소식”은 대부분 지역 교회들의 투고로 작성되었다. 이에 『활천』의 “소식”을 분석하여 정리하는 것은 한국 성결교회의 전체적인 신앙 양태를 읽는 좋은 시도가 될 것이다. 본 연구는 『활천』의 “소식”의 기사들을 내용별로 분류하여 통계로 작성 하였다. “집회 소식”이 전체 기사의 40%를 넘으며 가장 많았다. 이는 한국 성결교회의 신앙 양태가 집회 중심적임을 말해준다. 집회에는 부흥회가 가 장 많은 가운데, 전도회, 기도회 등이 뒤를 이었고, 한국성결교회의 핵심 정신을 함양하는 성별회는 얼마 되지 않았다. 동시에 부흥회에는 성별회의 특징이 나타났다. 본 연구는 이것을 당시 부흥회를 많이 행하는 한국 개신 교계에 대한 한국성결교회의 정체성을 고수하는 동화로 보았다. 또 다른 한국성결교회의 신앙 양태는 영혼구원과 은혜체험 중심적 신 앙이었다. 집회 중심적이라는 것은 영혼구원과 은혜체험을 내포한다. 한국 성결교회의 각종 집회에서는 영혼구원과 은혜체험이 동반되었고, 심지어 어린이들 대상의 주일학교에서도 집회가 압도적으로 많이 행해졌고, 영혼 구원과 은혜체험이 나타났다. “신앙 체험”으로 분류된 기사들은 한국성결 교회의 영혼구원과 은혜체험 중심적 신앙 양태를 잘 드러내주었다.
