In a situation where employment uncertainty is high as the paradigm of industrial structure and occupational environment is rapidly changing due to the recent rapid development of information technology (IT), grit is an essential element to promote adult learners' employment preparation behavior. This grit requires a detailed action plan that considers multidimensional factors to increase adult learners' employment preparation behavior. Therefore, this study needs to investigate the impact of self-direction and job search efficacy of adult learners preparing for employment on employment preparation behavior. Therefore, through this study, we will accurately analyze the factors that increase adult learners' employment preparation behavior, and based on this, we will seek ways to improve adult learners' grit, which is an important factor in employment, and develop future employment education programs. The purpose is to present basic data for effective employment support education by applying the factors necessary for adult learners preparing for employment to the educational content. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the impact of GRIT perceived by adult learners preparing for employment on employment preparation behavior and the mediating effects of self-direction and job search efficacy and the moderating effect of social support in that relationship. . To conduct an empirical analysis of this research model, a survey was conducted for approximately 4 weeks from June 30 to August 31, 2023, targeting adult learners using lifelong education institutions. A total of 362 questionnaires were collected, of which 356 were used for analysis, excluding 6 questionnaires with missing values and insincere responses. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 27.0 programs for data analysis. The research hypothesis was verified by analyzing the results based on structural equation modeling techniques using statistical tools. Structural equation model analysis was conducted in a two-step approach of estimating the measurement model and estimating the structural model, and then the adequacy of the measurement model and structural model was verified and analyzed. Research results: First, the GRIT of adult learners at lifelong education institutions was found to have a significant impact on self-direction, job search efficacy, and employment preparation behavior. Second, self-direction and job search efficacy were found to have a mediating effect in the relationship between the GRIT and employment preparation behavior of adult learners at lifelong education institutions. Third, social support was found to have a moderating effect in the relationship between job search efficacy and employment preparation behavior. Based on these research results, lifelong education institutions provide theoretical basic data to prepare employment support education courses that focus on improving self-direction and job search efficacy so that adult learners' GRIT can be considered and employment preparation behavior can be promoted. 최근 정보기술(IT)의 급속한 발전으로 인해 산업구조 및 직업환경의 패러다임이 급변함에 따라 고용 불확실성이 높은 상황에서 그릿(GRIT)은 성인학습자의 취업준비행동을 증진시키기 위한 필수불가결한 요소이다. 이러한 그릿은 성인학습자의 취업준비행동을 높이기 위해 다차원의 요소를 고려한 세부 실 천 방안이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 취업을 준비하는 성인학습자의 자기주도성과 구직효능감이 취 업준비행동에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 알아보는 것이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구를 통하여 성인학습자 의 취업준비행동을 높이기 위한 요인이 무엇인지를 정확히 분석하고, 이를 토대로 취업에 중요한 요인 인 성인학습자의 그릿을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하여, 향후 취업교육프로그램을 개발할 때 취업 을 준비하는 성인학습자들에게 필요한 요인을 교육 내용에 적용하여 효과적인 취업지원교육의 기초자 료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 취업을 준비하는 성인학습자가 인식하는 그릿(GRIT)이 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향과 그 관계에서 자기주도성과 구직효능감의 매개효과와 사회적지지의 조절효과를 실증적으로 규명하는 데 목 적이 있다. 본 연구모형에 대한 실증분석을 위하여 평생교육기관을 이용하는 성인학습자를 대상으로 2023년 6월 30일부터 8월 31일까지 약 4주간 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 362부를 회수하였으며 이 중 결측치 및 불성실하게 응답한 설문지 6부를 제외한 356부를 분석 대상으로 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 27.0 프로그램을 연구에 활용하여 통계분석을 하였다. 통계 도구를 통해 구조방 정식 모델링 기법을 기반으로 결과를 분석하여 연구가설을 검증하였다. 구조방정식 모델 분석은 측정 모형을 추정하고, 구조모형을 추정하는 2단계 접근법으로 시행한 후에, 측정모형과 구조모형의 적합성 을 검증하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 평생교육기관 성인학습자의 그릿(GRIT)은 자기주도성, 구직효 능감, 취업준비행동에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 평생교육기관 성인학습자의 그릿(GRIT)과 취업준비행동 간의 관계에서 자기주도성과 구직효능감은 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났 다. 셋째, 구직효능감과 취업준비행동 간의 관계에서 사회적지지의 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 기반으로 평생교육기관은 성인학습자의 그릿(GRIT)을 고려하여 취업준비행동을 증진시킬 수 있도록 자기주도성과 구직효능감의 향상에 중점을 둔 취업지원교육 과정을 마련하는 이론 적 기초자료가 될 것임을 기대한다.
