This study aims to excavate and introduce a different version of Chodangmundapga called Oryunpyeon, shedding light on its characteristics and offering a view for future research tasks. There are a total of 25 different versions of Chodangmundapga, which is a collection of Gyohungas that were in vogue from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Its different versions contain 5~16 works arranged in different orders, thus making it a flexible anthology of Gyohungas. The new material Oryunpyeon is a Korean manuscript in a personal collection. It includes nine works in 48 pages in total and is not a complete collection of Chodangmundapga works. It is written markedly in diphthongs, Honcheols, archaic words, dialects, and Habyong Byeongseo of initial sounds, which indicates that the version reflects the characteristics of Korean writing before the 20th century to a certain extent. Judging from the transcription forms of inconsistent notation and Chinese words in Korean, its transcription level is not high. It contains Oryunpyeon, Sagunpyeon, Bubupyeon, Buinjam, Jangyupyeon, Chongnon, Wubupyeon, Yongbu-pyeon, and Chisinpyeon(Chisanpyeon), which are all recorded without any rows. Each of the works is followed by the transcriber’s opinions except for Oryunpyeon, which indicates that the transcriber intended to consider organic connections among the nine works and reveal his opinions about the works actively. When Oryunpyeon is compared with the Gyujanggak version complete with all the works and the early version Oryunhaengrok, it is clear that it omitted six works included in the Gyujanggak version and matched Oryunhaengrok in the list of works. These findings show that Oryunpyeon is closely related to Oryunhaengrok and is an early version that had impacts on later versions. The findings of the study will contribute to the foundation of research on solid three-dimensional connections among 26 works of Chodangmundapga based on Oryunpyeon and the research of circulation among the early versions of Oryunpyeon and Oryunhaengrok. They will also create an opportunity to examine the changing and derivation patterns of the works in Chodangmundapga. Such research efforts will eventually make a contribution to the examination of the overall cultural network for its composition as well as the history of poetry in the 19th and 20th century.

이 논문은 『초당문답가(草堂問答歌)』 이본인 『오륜편󰡕을 발굴 소개하여 본 이본이 갖는 특징을 밝히고 향후 연구 과제를 조망하고 있다. 지금까지 알려진 ‘초당문답가’의 이본은 모두 25종이다. ‘초당문답가’는 19세기 말부터 20세기 초기까지 유행한 교훈가류 작품집으로 이본에 따라 5~16편의 작품을 수록하고 있고 작품의 배열 순서도 일정하지 않은 유연한 교훈가 선집이라 할 수 있다. 신자료 『오륜편󰡕은 개인 소장의 국문 필사본으로 총 48면에 9편의 작품을 수록하고 있으며, 완질은 아니다. 표기는 이중모음, 혼철, 고어, 방언, 초성 합용병서 표기가 두드러진 것으로 보아 20세기 이전 국어 표기의 특징을 어느 정도 반영하고 있으며, 한자어의 국문 표기에서 약간의 오류가 있는 편이다. 수록된 작품은 <오륜편>, <사군편>, <부부편>, <부인잠>, <장유편>, <총논>, <우부편>, <용부편>, <치신편>(치산편) 등을 행 구분 없이 기록하고 있고 <오륜편>을 제외하고 각 편마다 필사자의 견해를 붙였다. 이것은 9편의 유기성을 고려하고 작품에 대한 필사자의 견해를 적극 드러내고자 의도가 있다고 할 수 있다. 『오륜편』을 완비된 이본인 규장각본과 초기 이본인 『오륜행록』과 비교했을 때, 이 이본은 규장각본에서 6편이 제외되었고 『오륜행록』과는 일치된 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 『오륜편』이 『오륜행록』과 긴밀한 관계를 맺고 있으며 후대 이본에 영향을 준 초기 이본으로서의 위치에 놓여 있다고 할 수 있다. 앞으로 『오륜편』을 통해 『초당문답가』 26종에 대한 전면적이고 입체적인 관계 연구의 토대와 『오륜편』과 『오륜행록』의 초기 이본 간 유통 연구의 전기를 마련할 수 있겠다. 그리고 『초당문답가』 소재 작품의 변모 파생 양상을 살필 수 있는 계기가 되리라 기대한다. 이러한 연구는 결국 19세기~20세기 시가사는 물론 문화 전반 관계망의 구도를 살피는 데 일조하리라 생각한다.
