This paper provides an analysis of the current state of the Information Security Disclosure System and its impact on users and companies. From the user's perspective, the paper identifies the limitations in the scope of mandatory disclosure, the complexity of the disclosure content, and the inadequacy of the review process as primary concerns. From the corporate viewpoint, significant challenges include the burden of resources and costs, complex legal compliance requirements, doubts about the actual effectiveness of disclosures, and policy uncertainty. To address these issues, the paper proposes expanding the scope of entities required to disclose, simplifying the content to enhance understandability, strengthening the review processes, and improving the criteria for calculating information security investments.

본 논문은 정보보호 공시 제도의 현재 상황과 그것이 이용자와 기업에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석한다. 이용자 관점에서는 공시 의무 대상 범위의 제한, 이해하기 어려운 공시 내용, 그리고 미흡한 공시 검토 절차가 주요 문제 로 지적되었다. 기업 관점에서는 자원 및 비용 부담, 복잡한 법적 준수 요구사항, 공시의 실질적 효과에 대한 의 문, 그리고 정책적 불확실성이 문제점으로 부각 되었다. 이 논문은 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 정보보호 공시 제도의 의무 대상 범위를 확대하고, 공시 내용을 이해하기 쉽게 만드는 동시에, 공시 검토 절차를 강화하며, 정보 보안 투자액 계산 기준의 개선을 제안한다.
