Today, artificial intelligence has developed into generative AI that derives new content such as text, images, and audio desired by users according to natural language commands, and discussions and attempts on its use are active in the field of education. Accordingly, in this paper, we developed a curriculum convergence education program using generative AI in connection with the social and art achievement standards for 6th grade elementary school students. The developed educational program was pilot-applied over four sessions to 25 students from one 6th grade elementary school class in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. Even though all learners had no prior knowledge or experience with generative AI, they intuitively and skillfully used the model to obtain the output they wanted. At the same time, the educational application of generative AI should be done carefully based on consideration of negative aspects such as copyright ethics and inhibition of creativity.

오늘날 인공지능은 자연어 명령어에 따라 사용자가 원하는 텍스트, 이미지, 오디오 등의 새로운 콘텐츠를 도출 해내는 생성형 AI까지로의 발전에 이룩하였고, 교육 분야에서도 그 활용데 대한 논의와 시도가 활발하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 초등학교 6학년 사회 및 미술 성취 기준과 연계하여 생성형 AI를 활용한 교과 융합 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 교육 프로그램은 제주특별자치도 소재 초등학교 6학년 1개 학급 학생 25명을 대상으로 4차시 에 걸쳐 시범 적용되었다. 모든 학습자는 생성형 AI와 관련된 사전 지식 및 경험이 전혀 없었음에도 직관적으로 능숙하게 모델을 활용하여 자신이 원하는 산출물을 얻었다. 동시에 생성형 AI의 교육적 적용에는 저작권 윤리, 창 의성 저해 등의 부정적 측면에 대한 고려를 바탕으로 신중하게 이루어져야 할 것이다.
