This study was conducted to analyze the spatial factors of virtual hospitals constructed for simulation education for nursing students to contribute to future improvement. Using convenience sampling, a total of seventy-nine nursing students were recruited and experienced a virtual hospital. Oculus Quest 2 was the selected device and the MEC Spatial Presence Questionnaire (MEC-SPQ) was used as measurement tool. Python was used to analyze the text responses. The scores of the spatial analysis were a visual factor of 4.06(±0.50), a spatial factor of 4.05(±0.58) and a self location of 4.07(±0.64). The findings of the Python text analysis revealed positive experiences in the virtual hospital overall. Therefore, the use of various technologies that can increase the sense of reality in a virtual space experience should be actively introduced in the field of healthcare education.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 시뮬레이션 교육을 위해 구축된 가상병원의 공간요인을 분석하고 향후 개선방안 을 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 간호대학생 79명을 편의 모집하고 가상병원 공간을 체험하도록 하였다. 체험을 위해 Oculus quest 2가 사용되었고, 연구 도구로는 MEC Spatial Presence Questionnaire(MEC-SPQ)를 활용하였다. 주관식 설문에 대한 답변의 텍스트 분석은 Python coding을 활용하였다. 연구조사 결과 공간의 각 요인에 대한 평균 표준편차는 시각요인 4.06(±0.50), 공간요인 4.05(±0.58), 정위요인 4.07(±0.64)으로 각 요 인 별 점수를 측정하고 요인별 상관관계를 분석하였다. 텍스트 분석 결과 전반적인 체험에 대해 "체험" "실제" " 처음" "신기하다" 등과 같은 단어의 부각으로 실제적이고 직관적으로 접근 가능한 가상병원의 긍정적인 결과를 알 수 있게 하였다. 향후 가상공간 체험의 현실감을 높일 수 있는 다양한 기술의 활용이 적극 도입되어야 할 것이다.
