All Scripture is God-breathed, also it is possible to communicate the Bible through the Spirit of God. The Bible says that the role of the Holy Spirit is important for the Word of God to be correctly communicated to the audience. The Holy Spirit witnesses Christ and resolves questions about God. Therefore, the audience can be changed through him. The Reformers also regarded the Holy Spirit as important as a witness of the bible. If the Korean church was filled with sermons relying on the Holy Spirit, it would not have been heard as a word 'crisis of the church'. Lloyd Jones was a man who had a rational profession, but a preacher who emphasized the fullness of the Holy Spirit. This study examines how the anointing emphasized by pastor Lloyd-Jones is explained in the Bible and how it appeared in church history. In addition, I will present the posture that modern preachers should take through the relationship between the anointing of the Holy Spirit and preaching. The preacher must have the ability, but it is not man who can change the audience. When understanding that only the Holy Spirit can change man, true restoration through preaching will occur.

모든 성경이 하나님의 감동으로 된 것처럼, 성경의 전달도 하나님의 영을 통해 가능하다. 성경은 하나님의 말씀이 청중들에게 바로 전달되기 위해서 성령의 역할을 강조한다. 그리스도를 증거하 며, 의문을 해결하시는 성령께서 함께 하실 때 믿음이 생기고, 변화를 이룰 수 있다. 말씀의 증거 자로서의 성령의 중요성은 종교개혁자들에게서도 반복되었다. 그러나 지금 한국의 강단에서 성령 을 의지한 설교가 활발히 이루어지고 있는지는 의문이다. 만일 그러했다면 한국교회의 위기라는 말은 들을 수 없었을 것이다. 로이드 존스 목사는 이성을 강조한 의학에 몸담은 사람이지만 그가 지향하는 목회자상은 성령의 충만함을 입은 설교자였다. 설교자는 “성령의 나타나심과 능력으로”(살전 1:5) ‘불 붙은 논리’를 가져야 한다고 주장한다. 본 연구는 로이드 존스 목사가 강조한 기름 부음이 성경에 어떻게 설명되어 있으며, 교회사 속에 서 어떻게 등장했는지를 살펴본다. 그리고 성령의 기름 부음과 설교의 관계를 통해 현대 설교자 들이 취해야 할 자세를 제시하고자 한다. 설교자는 마땅히 능력을 갖춰야 하지만, 청중을 변화시 킬 수 있는 것은 사람이 아닌 오직 성령의 인도하심임을 이해할 때 설교를 통한 진정한 회복이 일어나게 될 것이다.
