This is an empirical study to examine the factors affecting user acceptance intention of ChatGPT and Generative AI services. The purpose of this study is to understand the key factors of ChatGPT and Generative AI services user intention. More specifically, based on UTAUT, as major variables are set and as a moderation age is set between variables and user intention. A survey was conducted on users who have experienced ChatGPT and Generative AI services and the data collected through the survey was analyzed. According to the empirical analysis, it was confirmed that performance expectancy, social influence together with facilitating conditions have a positive effect on user intention and age has a moderating effect between performance expectancy, effort expectancy and user intention. The results of this study presents the significance of the understanding on user intention of ChatGPT and Generative AI services and providing a practical direction for Generative AI service providers to refer to.

본 연구는 최근 다양한 산업에 걸쳐 큰 화두가 되고 있는 챗GPT 및 생성형 AI 서비스의 사용자 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 고찰하기 위한 실증적 연구로서, 챗GPT를 포함한 생성형 AI 서비스 이용에 영향을 미치는 핵심 요인을 이해하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 보다 구체적으로 UTAUT를 기반으로 하여 주요 변수를 설정하여 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인과 연령의 조절 효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 챗GPT를 포함한 생성형 AI 서비스 이용 경험이 있는 성인을 대상으로 설문을 진행하고 수집된 데이터를 분석하였다. 실증 분석의 연구 결과, 성과기 대와 사회적영향 및 촉진조건은 사용의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치며, 연령은 성과기대, 노력기대와 사용의도의 관계 에 조절효과를 발생하였다. 이와 같은 연구의 결과는 사용자의 생성형 AI 서비스 이용에 대한 학술적 이해와 함 께 서비스 제공사의 사용자 유입 전략을 위한 실무적 방향을 제시하였다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.
