Ricoeur tries to solve the mystery of time through narrative. To this end, he introduces the concept of narrative identity in the hermeneutic research. By using this narrative identity, Ricoeur is in trouble to elucidate the connection between the narrative and the reality of the world of action. He aims to secure a connection with the world of action or the world that exists before or after the text by classifying it into a layer called Mimesis I II III. Establishing the bridge between the narrative and this world, we would like to clarify the alternative suggested by Ricoeur by examining the concept of the text from various angles.

리쾨르는 시간의 수수께끼를 서사를 통해서 해결하고자 한다. 이를 위해서는 그는 주체에 있어서 서사적 정체성이라는 개념을 도입한다. 이런 서사적 정체성을 사용함으로써 리쾨르는 서사와 행위세계의 실 재성에 대한 연관성을 해명해야할 어려움에 처한다. 이런 문제를 해결 하기 위해서 그는 미메시스ⅠⅡⅢ이라는 층위로 구별하여 단계적으로 행위의 세계, 혹은 텍스트 이전 혹은 이후에 존재하는 세계와의 연관 성을 확보하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 우리는 텍스트의 개념을 다각도로 살펴봄으로써 리쾨르가 제시한 대안을 해명하고자 한다.
