[Purpose] This study was planned to establish the direction of exercise therapy programs for people with disabilities which focused on user-oriented based on investigating, analysing, and consideration of desires of exercise programs for guardians who has youth children with developmental disorder. [Method] For the purposes, in depth-interview were implemented to guardians who had youth children with developmental disorder. Inductive categorical analyses were implemented to analyse the data. [Result] From the process, eleven themes were derived which were experienced by guardians of youth children on rehabilitation exercises, recognitions of rehabilitation exercise programs, intention of participation, etc. And those were categorized in three part which were feelings of exercise program as guardians who have youth children with developmental disorder, necessity of rehabilitation exercises, and present situation of rehabilitation exercise programs. To establish user-oriented therapeutic exercise program for person with disability, first, the program need to be structured based on understanding of characteristics. Second, we have to recognize that the guardians are understanding the necessity of participation and they realize it is very important.

[목적] 본 연구는 발달장애 청소년 보호자의 운동 프로그램 욕구를 파악하고 그 의미를 분석 및 고찰하여 이를 바탕 으로 소비자 중심의 장애인 운동치료 프로그램의 방향성을 수립하고자 기획되었다. [방법] 이를 위하여 발달장애 자 녀를 둔 보호자들을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 진행하였으며 수집된 자료에 대한 귀납적 범주분석을 시행하여 분석하 였다. [결과] 내용분석 과정을 통해 발달장애 자녀를 둔 보호자들이 경험한 재활 운동, 재활 운동 프로그램에 대한 인식, 참여 의향 등에 대한 11개의 주제가 도출되었으며 발달장애 자녀의 보호자로서 느끼는 운동 프로그램, 재활 운 동 프로그램의 필요성, 발달장애인 재활 운동 프로그램의 현재에 대한 3개의 범주로 분류할 수 있었다. 소비자 중심 의 장애인 운동치료 프로그램을 만들기 위해서는 첫째, 특성을 이해하고 그에 맞게 프로그램을 구조화해야 하며 둘 째, 발달장애 청소년들이 재활 운동에 참여하는 것이 매우 중요하며 보호자들 역시 그 필요성을 느끼고 있다는 것을 인지해야 한다. 마지막으로 참여를 저해하는 요소들을 인식하고 다방면으로 고려를 해야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구 결과가 발달장애인의 재활치료 현장에서 활용될 수 있다고 판단된다.
