This study aims to establish the concept of a guardian in the field of dance of intangible cultural properties and develop a guardian education program in the field of dance, including the role of a guardian and the activity plan for the scope of use. In-depth interviews, phone interviews, and video interviews with dance field and cultural property guardian experts were conducted, and opinions of dance experts using F. G. I. (Focus Group Interview) were collected and analyzed to develop a conceptualization and guardian education program category. Cultural Heritage Guardian in the dance field is a program to train performers and commentators, guide safety management, guide and public relations activities, viewing environment monitoring, and preservation environment monitoring.

본 연구의 목적은 무형문화재 무용분야 현황분석과 무용지킴이 교육프로그램 범주와 구성요소를 제시하는 것이 다. 이를 위해 연구참여자는 유형․무형 문화재 지킴이 전문가 5인을 선정하였고, 자료수집은 직접면담, 전화면담, 화상면담, F. G. I.를 통한 심층면담, 자료분석은 귀납적 분석을 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용분야 의 무형문화재는 42개 종목, 보유자는 57명으로 지정되어 있고 전국에 총 11개의 무용분야 전수교육관에서 22개 전수 보유 종목이 전수되고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 무용지킴이 교육프로그램 범주와 구성 요소로 는 1. 무용분야 무형문화재의 이해(무용의 유형구분 및 무용의 종류 이해 ), 2. 무형문화재 무용지킴이의 활동의 의미와 필요성(무용명칭과 무용 음악, 의상, 움직임의 특징 등의 전문지식), 3. 무형문화재 무용지킴이의 활동장 소(무형문화재 보유자 공연장, 전수관 등이 적합) 4. 무형문화재 무용지킴이 지킴이 홍보 활동방법 (웹사이트 구 축, 보유자 공연활동, 전수관 전수활동 업로드) 등으로 나타났다. 무형문화재 무용지킴이 프로그램은 무용전공 학생들의 진로 확대 및 무용 비전공자들 대상으로 무용지킴이를 양성하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
