The purpose of this study is to approach and analyze the crisis of pastoral counseling in Korean churches from various perspectives and to propose practical alternatives for overcoming the crisis. To achieve this objective this study first examines the concept and goals of pastoral counseling in detail, and then confirms the essential identity of pastoral counseling as it moves toward living in union with God under God's presence. It then describes the crisis and causes of pastoral counseling are explored in depth by dividing them into the indiscriminate acceptance of psychology, the multi-role conflict of pastoral counsellors, and the lack of a pastoral counseling perspective on the increase in activities in cyberspace. This study analyzes the causes of the crisis in pastoral counseling based on the biblical view of history from creation, fall, redemption, and the second coming, and the biblical view of human beings that assert that human beings are precious beings made in the image of God. Specifically, the biblical view of history tells us that God is the owner of the world, and that God is the owner of cyberspace. It teaches us that human understanding is futile and that the multi-role conflict of the pastor must be resolved on a God-centered basis. Finally this study presents a pastoral counseling perspective on the indiscriminate acceptance of psychology, extension of the concept of pastoral counsellor to resolve the multi-role conflict of pastoral counsellors, and a pastoral counseling perspective on activities in cyberspace as practical alternatives. In addition, this study has a weakness of a literature study and suggests the direction of future study that investigates more cases related counseling studies from more diverse perspectives.

본 연구의 목적은 한국 교회내 목회상담의 위기에 대하여 다양한 관점으로 접근하 여 분석한 뒤 위기 극복을 위한 실천적 대안을 제시하는 것이다 이를 위해 본 연구는 먼저 목회상담의 개념과 목표에 대하여 자세히 살펴본 후 하나님의 임재 아래 하나님 과 연합된 존재로의 삶으로 나아가는 목회상담의 본질적 정체성을 확인한다. 이어서 선행연구 고찰을 통해 목회상담의 위기와 원인을 심리학의 무분별한 수용, 목회상담 사의 다중역할 갈등, 사이버공간 내 활동증가에 대한 목회상담학적 관점의 부재로 나 누어 심도 있게 탐색하였으며 항목별 인과관계를 목회상담 관점에서 서술한다. 본 연 구는 목회상담의 위기에 대한 원인 분석 시 창조, 타락, 구속과 재림에 이르는 성경적 역사관과 인간이 하나님 형상으로 지어진 귀한 존재임을 주장하는 성경적 인간관을 바탕으로 서술하였으며, 그 연장선상에서 실천적 대안을 제시하였다. 구체적으로 성경 적 역사관은 세상의 주인이 하나님이심을 알려주며 사이버공간의 주인도 하나님이시 고, 심리학을 통한 인간 이해는 무익하며 목회자의 다중 역할 갈등도 하나님 중심적 가치관으로 해결해야 함을 알려준다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 심리학의 무분별한 수용 에 대한 목회상담학적 관점과 목회상담사의 다중역할 갈등 해결을 위한 목회상담사의 개념 확장, 사이버공간 내 활동에 대한 목회상담학적 관점을 실천적 대안으로 제시하 였다. 또한 본 연구는 문헌 연구로서의 한계를 가지고 있으므로 더 다양한 관점에서의 후속연구를 촉구한다.
