The purpose of this study is to examine the level of reporting of meta-analysis studies on the effects of career education programs. To this end, the reporting level of the meta-analysis study on the effects of career education programs was analyzed based on the 42 essential reporting items of the meta-analysis study proposed by Noh Min-jeong and Yu Jin-eun(2015). The collected papers were analyzed based on six items, including research topic, abstract, introduction and theoretical background, research method, research result, and discussion, which are the reporting criteria for meta-analysis proposed by Minjeong Noh and Jineun Yu(2015). The results of the study are as follows. The sub-standards presented in the research topics, research results, and discussions were met at a considerable level. However, in the abstract, introduction, theoretical background, and research methods, the need to modify, add, or exclude some sub-standards was identified. Based on the results of the analysis of the reporting level of the meta-analysis study on the effects of career education programs by applying the proposed criteria, the criterion for analyzing the reporting level of the meta-analysis targeting experimental research in the field of education was modified, suggested. It is expected that this standard will be helpful in the process of conducting meta-analysis research and writing papers for primary research. Moreover this study is meaningful in that it provides specific basic data so that meta-analysis research needs to be conducted in career education program and that meta-analysis research can be applied according to a reasonable procedure.

이 연구의 목적은 진로 교육 프로그램 효과에 대한 메타 분석 연구의 보고 수준을 살펴보고 이를 통해 진로교육 프로그램의 일차 연구나 메타분석 연구 등의 기초 자료에 관한 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 진로 교육 프로그램의 효과를 메타분석기법으로 확인한 국내 연구 37개의 논문을 선별 하여 노민정, 유진은(2015)이 제안한 메타 분석 연구의 필수 보고 6개 항목(하위 기준 42개)을 기준으로 분석하였다. 메타 분석의 보고 기준은 연구 주제, 초록, 서론 및 이론적 배경, 연구 방법, 연구 결과, 논의 의 6개 항목이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 연구 주제, 연구 결과, 논의에서 제시된 하위 기준은 상당 한 수준에서 충족되었다. 그러나 초록, 서론, 이론적 배경, 연구 방법에서는 일부 하위 기준을 수정, 추가 하거나 제외할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. 전반적으로 노민정, 유진은(2015)의 분석 결과에 비해 진로 교육 프로그램 효과에 대한 메타 분석 연구의 보고 수준이 상당히 개선되고 있음을 확인하였다. 진로 교육 프로그램 효과에 대한 메타분석 연구의 보고 수준을 분석한 결과를 토대로 교육 분야의 실험 연구를 대상으로 메타분석의 보고 수준을 분석하는 기준의 보완이나 수정이 필요한 부분을 제안 하였다. 이렇게 수정‧보완된 메타분석 보고 수준의 분석 기준은 메타분석 연구의 수행뿐만 아니라 일차 연구의 설계와 실천 과정의 설계 및 점검에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
