This paper aims to explore how to utilize AI and ChatGPT in moral instruction by understanding their major features that have been changed and transformed in various practices. The ability to use AI in a digitized field of education is also required of many teachers in moral classes based on moral development and AI literacy. In this paper, there are three tasks as follows: firstly, to examine the basic characteristics of AI and ChatGPT, secondly, to analyze the critical and ethical issues related human alienation plagiarism and personal information issues and, finally, to suggest a possible plan to utilize ChatGPT in moral education connected with inquiry based learning method in the context of 2022 revised National Curriculum.

이 연구의 목적은 인공지능과 챗GPT의 기본 특징을 이해하고 도덕 과 수업에 어떻게 활용할 것인지를 탐구하는 데 있다. 우리는 인공지 능과 챗GPT의 등장으로 삶의 전 분야에서 새로운 변화를 경험하고 있다. 교육 현장에서도 인공지능을 활용한 교육과정과 교수학습 방법 의 변화가 주요 과제로 등장하고 있다. 또한 도덕과 예비 교사에게도 인공지능과 챗GPT를 교육적으로 활용할 수 있는 역량이 요구된다. 이를 위해 인공지능과 챗GPT의 특징을 탐색하고, 표절, 인간소외, 개인 정보 이슈와 같은 인공지능과 챗GPT의 윤리적 문제를 분석하며, 2022 개정 초․중등학교 도덕과 교육과정을 토대로 학습자 중심의 탐구형 수업에서 챗GPT를 활용하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
