This study systematically synthesized the results of qualitative research exploring the service experiences of families of elderly individuals utilizing long-term care insurance. The aim was to derive and propose directions and implications to enhance the quality of service utilization. To achieve this, a qualitative meta-synthesis approach was applied to analyze and synthesize the results of qualitative studies. The databases used for literature search included the Research Information Sharing Service, DBpia, Koreanstudies Information Service System, and the National Assembly Library. Based on five included documents for analysis, qualitative research synthesis was performed, involving a total of 105 participants. The analysis resulted in the identification of four main themes: First, a recognition of practical difficulties in elderly care; Second, the application and utilization of long-term care insurance for the elderly; Third, an expansion of the role of caregiving; and Fourthly, expectations for the development of long-term care services. Practical and policy implications were suggested in response to these findings

이 연구는 노인장기요양보험을 이용하고 있는 노인의 가족이 이용한 서비스 경험을 탐색한 질적연구 결 과들을 통합하고 이를 체계적으로 합성하여, 서비스 이용의 질을 높이기 위한 방향과 대상자들에게 필요한 지원에 대하여 함의를 도출하고 제안하기 위해 수행하였다. 이를 위해 질적연구들의 결과들을 분석 및 합성한 질적 메타 합성(Qualitative meta-synthesis) 방법을 적용하였다. 문헌검색을 위해 사용한 데이터베이스는 학술연구정보서비 스(RISS), 학술콘텐츠 플랫폼인 누리미디어(DBpia), 한국학술정보(KISS), 국회전자도서관이다. 최종적으로 분석에 포 함된 5개 문헌을 기반으로 질적연구 합성을 진행하였으며, 참가한 대상자는 총 105명이었다. 분석결과, 총 4개의 주제 가 도출되었으며 첫째, 노인 돌봄에 대한 현실적 어려움 인식과 둘째, 노인장기요양보험의 신청과 이용 셋째, 돌봄 의 역할 확대 넷째, 장기요양서비스 발전의 기대로 도출되었으며 이에 대한 실천적, 정책적 함의를 제안하였다.
