The purpose of this study is to present suggestions for environmental sustainability for the successful hosting and operation of the Busan Expo in order to successfully attract the 2030 Busan Expo.To this end, taking the Osaka-Kansai Expo as an example, we would like to examine in detail the realization strategies and measures for protecting the environment and ecosystem that the Expo aims for. As a sustainable environmental realization plan for the Busan Expo, it should be remembered that the Busan Expo is an important factor that can differentiate the presentation of a viable roadmap beyond the declaration of an environmental agenda. Second, it is necessary to turn to the Next Carbon issue from a carbon-centered approach. Interest and investment in social issues such as biodiversity issues, physical risk issues, conflicts in human society, dignity, and equality are also needed. Third, practical methodologies should be applied with sustainability as collateral, and it should be an expo that creates innovative value introducing real bell management that can serve as a driving force for true transformation in the ESG era.

본 연구의 목적은 2030 부산엑스포의 성공적인 유치를 위한 오사카·칸사이 박람회 가 실현하고자 하는 환경과 생태계 보호를 위한 실현 전략과 방안에 대한 내용을 세부 적으로 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 부산엑스포의 성공적인 개최와 운영을 위한 환경적 지속가능성을 위한 제언을 제시하고자 한다. 부산엑스포의 지속가능한 환경적 실현방안으로는, 첫째 부산엑스포는 환경적 아젠다 선언에 그치지 않는 실행가능한 로드맵 제시가 차별화할 수 있는 중요요인임을 기억해 야 할 것이다. 둘째, 탄소 중심의 접근에서 Next Carbon 이슈로 눈길을 돌려야 할 것이 다. 생물 다양성 이슈, 물리적 리스크에 관한 이슈, 인간 사회의 갈등, 존엄, 평등과 같 은 사회적 이슈에 대한 관심과 투자도 필요한 것이다. 셋째, 지속가능성을 담보로 실천 적 방법론이 적용되어야 하며, ESG 시대의 진정한 변혁의 견인차 역할을 할 수 있는, 리얼 벨류 경영을 도입한 혁신적인 가치를 창출해 내는 엑스포가 되어야 할 것이다.
