The purpose of this study is to investigate moderating effects according to user group in the relationship between physical environment of university gymnasium facilities and user satisfaction. The subjects of the study were 318 responses who had experience using gym facilities at K university in gyeonggi-do and N university in chungnam in June 2023. For data processing, SPSS V.24.0 was used to frequency analysis, reliability, correlation analysis and in order to perform confirmatory factor analysis and research hypotheses verification using AMOS 24.0, multiple group covariance structure analysis was conducted based on the results of structural equation model analysis. The main conclusions drawn from the research results are as follows. First, among the physical environments of university gymnasium facilities, convenience was found to affect user satisfaction. Second, among the physical environments of university gymnasium facilities, aesthetics was found to affect user satisfaction. Third, among the physical environments of university gymnasium facilities, cleanliness was found to affect user satisfaction. Fourth, in the relationship between physical environments of university gymnasium facilities and user satisfaction, user group have a significant moderating effect.

본 연구의 목적은 대학교 체육관시설물의 물리적 환경이 이용자 만족에 미치는 영향에 있어 이용자 집단에 따라 상이한 차이가 나타나는지를 규명하는 것이다. 연구대상은 2023년 6월 경기도에 소재한 K대학교와 충남에 소재한 N대 학교의 체육관시설물을 이용한 경험이 있는 318명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS V. 24.0을 사용하여 이용자의 특성과 측정도구의 신뢰도, 판별타당성을 위한 상관분석을 하였고, AMOS 24.0을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석과 연구가설 검증을 수행하기 위하여 구조방정식 모형분석과 측정모형에 대한 결과를 바탕으로 다중집단 공분산구조분석을 실시하였 다. 검증된 연구결과를 통하여 나타난 주요 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학교 체육관시설물의 물리적 환경 중 편의성은 이용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학교 체육관시설물의 물리적 환경 중 심미성은 이용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학교 체육관시설물의 물리적 환경 중 청결성은 이용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대학교 체육관시설물의 물리적 환경이 이용자 만족에 미치는 영향에 있어 이용자 집단에 따라 조절변수의 역할을 하여 차이가 나타났다.
