This study was explored based on the case of the Culture and Arts Education Planning Project, a process of cultural and artistic participation activities as part of leisure activities conducted by the Gongju Culture and Tourism Foundation. This project was promoted by introducing a new governance method in which citizens and government sectors cooperate to ensure the participation of local residents from the planning stage to the implementation stage and the feedback stage. Accordingly, by considering the case of the culture and arts education planning project, the study sought to find out the purpose of artistic experience and the meaning of artistic experience in the process of the resident-participating culture and arts education planning project. The research utilizes Focus Group Interviews (FGI) conducted with citizens who participated in the planning project. As a result of the study, the purpose of art vacation planning, the direction of art education pursued in art vacation, the cultural and artistic value pursued in art vacation planning, the return of space and time of art vacation, and public-private cooperation were derived.

본 연구는 공주문화관광재단에서 진행한 문화예술교육 기획사업 사례를 여가활동의 일환인 문화예술참여활동의 과정으로 탐색하였다. 이 기획사업은 주민참여를 통해 민·관의 협치과정인 뉴거버너스를 수행하여 기획 단계부터 환류 하는 과정까지 수행하였다. 따라서 문화예술교육 기획사업의 사례를 고찰함으로써 주민참여형 문화예술교육 기획사업 진행과정에서 예술적 경험의 목적과 예술적 경험이 지닌 의미는 무엇인지 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 사례연구방법으로 기획사업에 참여한 주민을 대상으로 FGI를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 예술 바캉스 기획의 목적과 예술바캉스에서 추구한 예술교육의 방향성, 예술바캉스 기획에서 추구한 문화예술교육적 가치, 예술바캉스의 공간성과 시간성에 대한 환류, 주민참여형 문화예술교육 기획의 민·관 협치가 도출되었다.
