The purpose of this study is to propose the contents and methods of developing pre-college teaching materials for foreign language trainees. According to 2022 educational statistics, the number of foreign language trainees for academic purposes is on the rise, but they have not been able to follow their major or liberal arts classes by entering undergraduate schools. In particular, foreign undergraduates in local areas are not good at writing and speaking due to their low basic expression of Korean, and among them, they are not good at writing academic reports. There is a need for textbooks that strengthen expression education that can overcome learners' difficulties based on field experience. It is expected that pre-college classes during the Korean language training course will help them perform their studies after entering college. Accordingly, this study presented three stages as a way to develop textbooks for pre-university classes: writing and speaking diagnosis, basic stage, leap stage, and advanced stage. When a learner learns step by step, a report can be prepared for each type and presented as a completed report. If preliminary college textbooks for language trainees are developed with the contents presented in this paper, they will be able to effectively carry out their studies in universities by developing self-efficacy based on their experience in writing and speaking.

이 연구는 외국인 언어연수생을 대상으로 대학 예비반을 위한 교재 개발의 내용과 방법을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2022년 교육통계 자료에 따르면 학문목적 외국인 언어연수생은 증가 추세이지만 학부에 진 학해서 전공이나 교양수업을 따라가지 못하고 있다. 특히 지방권 외국인 학부생의 경우 기초적인 한국어 표 현 능력이 낮아서 쓰기와 말하기를 어려워하고 그중에서도 대학 생활에서 중요한 학술적 보고서 쓰기를 힘 들어하고 있다. 현장 경험을 바탕으로 학습자들의 어려움을 극복할 내용으로 표현 교육을 강화한 교재가 필 요하다. 한국어 연수과정에서 대학 예비 과정의 수업이 진행되면 대학 진학 후에 학업을 수행하는데 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학 예비반 언어연수생을 위한 교재 개발 방안으로 쓰기와 말하 기 진단부터 기초 단계, 도약 단계, 심화 단계의 3단계로 제시하였다. 학습자들이 단계별로 학습하면 유형별 보고서를 쓸 수 있고 완성된 보고서로 발표할 수 있도록 했다. 본고에서 제시한 내용으로 언어연수생을 위 한 대학 예비반용 교재가 개발되면 쓰기와 말하기의 완성 경험을 토대로 자기효능감을 키워 대학에서 효과 적으로 학업을 수행할 수 있을 것이라 본다.
