The purpose of this study is to draw comprehensive conclusions about the life satisfaction of migrants and related variables. For this purpose, facilitative factors and risk factors of life satisfaction were extracted from 31 studies from maters’ theses, doctoral dissertations, and journal articles published from 2000 to 2023. The study results are as follows. First, the effect sizes of interpersonal factors and family factors were in large range and medium range, respectively. Second, the effect size of social factors was in medium range. However, social participation, one of the social factors, had no significant relationship with life satisfaction. Third, the effect size of cultural factors was in medium range. However, separation, one of the cultural adaptation strategies, had no significant relationship with life satisfaction. Based on these results, limitations and the implications for future studies are discussed.

본 연구의 목적은 이주민의 삶의 만족도와 관련된 변인을 확인하고 변인들의 효과크 기를 메타분석을 통해 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 2000년부터 2023년까지 국내에서 발표된 석·박사 학위논문과 학술지 논문 중 이주민의 삶의 만족도 관련 논문 31편을 선 정하였고, 삶의 만족도 관련 촉진요인과 방해요인을 추출하였다. 본 메타분석 연구결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인내적 요인은 큰 효과크기를, 가족 요인은 중간 효과크기 를 나타냈다. 둘째, 사회적 요인은 중간 효과크기를 나타냈는데, 사회적 참여는 삶의 만족도와 통계적으로 유의한 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 문화적 요인은 중간 효과크기를 나타냈는데, 문화적응 유형 중 분리는 삶의 만족도와 통계적으로 유의한 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점 및 제한점과, 후 속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.
