This study was conducted to verify whether peer attachment of adolescents who stopped studying affects smartphone addiction and whether self-esteem and self-resilience mediate between them. For this purpose, this study used data from the 5th year among the data from the panel survey of adolescents who stopped studying. For data analysis, hierarchical regression analysis was performed for mediating effect analysis. The results of the study showed that first, peer attachment of adolescents who stopped studying had a positive (+) effect on smartphone addiction. Second, it was verified that self-esteem mediates between peer attachment and smartphone addiction in adolescents who have stopped studying. Third, it was verified that self-resilience mediates between peer attachment and smartphone addiction in adolescents who have stopped studying. Through such research, several discussions and implications were proposed to lower smartphone addiction by improving self-esteem or self-resilience of adolescents who stopped studying.

본 연구는 학업중단 청소년의 또래애착이 스마트폰 중독에 영향이 있는지와 자아존 중감과 자아탄력성은 그들 간을 매개하는지를 검증하고자 수행하였다. 이러한 목적을 위해 본 연구는 학업중단 청소년 패널조사 자료 중에서 제5차년도 자료를 활용하였다. 자료분석은 매개효과 분석을 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 학업중단 청소년의 또래애착은 스마트폰 중독에 정적(+)인 영향임을 확인하였다. 둘 째, 자아존중감은 학업중단 청소년의 또래애착과 스마트폰 중독 간을 매개함을 검증하 였다. 셋째, 자아탄력성은 학업중단 청소년의 또래애착과 스마트폰 중독 간을 매개함 을 검증하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해, 학업중단 청소년의 자아존중감 또는 자아탄력 성의 향상을 통해 스마트폰 중독을 낮출 수 있는 논의 및 함의 몇 가지를 제안하였다.
