After encountering the brilliant anti-Japanese spirit of Gwangju Girls' High School students who left a great mark in the Gwangju Student Independence Movement, the study began to summarize the history and monuments of Jeonnam Girls’ High School. The data to be used were studied based on newspaper articles published at the time, thesis related to the Gwangju Student Independence Movement, many data related to the Gwangju Student Independence Movement stored at Jeonnam Girls’ High School, and memoirs of alumni and testimonies of related figures. As a result, the relationship between the Gwangju Girls’ High School Reading Association and the tennis club was revealed, and on October 30, 1929, in the Naju Station incident, the relationship between the Danggimeori was re-examined based on the testimony of Yoon Oh-rye’s descendants who existed at the scene. The first blank alliance of Gwangju Girls’ High School added a point of view to reveal Choi Soon-deok, who was plotted with Gwangju High School Lee Kyung-chae, led on November 11, 1929, and revealed his desire for independence in various ways. including “A rice bowl of brass” and the secret association of Taegeukgi.

광주학생독립운동에 지대한 발자취를 남긴 광주여자고등보통학교 학생들의 빛 나는 항일정신을 접하고 전남여고의 역사와 기념물에 대한 관심과 전남여고 100 년사 정리를 위해 연구를 시작하였다. 활용할 자료는 당시 발간된 신문기사와 광 주학생독립운동 관련 논저, 전남여고에 보관된 광주학생독립운동 관련 많은 자료 와 졸업생 동문들의 회고사와 관련 인사들의 증언 등을 토대로 연구하였다. 이 결 과 광주여자고등보통학교 독서회와 정구부와의 관계를 밝히고, 1929년 10월 30 일 나주역 사건에서 댕기머리 관련은 당시 현장에 실존한 윤오례 자손의 증언을 토대로 재조명했다. 광주여자고등보통학교의 1차 백지동맹은 시점을 추가하여 광주고등보통학교 이경채 등과 함께 모의한 최순덕이 1929년 11월 11일 주도했 음을 밝히고, “놋밥그릇” 태극기 비밀결사 등 독립에의 열망을 비밀리에 다양한 방법으로 드러낸 활동을 밝혔다.
